43 Chapter 43: The Rumor about Uchiha Natsu

"Senior Natsu, where are we going next?" Uchiha Itachi inquired, his eyes betraying a subtle eagerness. Meanwhile, the other Uchiha ninjas were resting in the forest to replenish their chakras.
Turning to observe clansmen consuming Chakra pills or drinking water from the kettle, Uchiha Natsu stood and declared, "Get ready, set off immediately, and head to the patriarch's battlefield to support."
Maintaining confidentiality, Uchiha Natsu severed ties with other clansmen, cutting them off from the village. Only a select few Uchiha who supported them learned the information a few days ago. While Uchiha Fugaku and Shisui had initially defeated Yukito, Raikage's intervention led to repeated setbacks for Uchiha Fugaku's side.
Despite the situation not being dire, Shisui wanted to conceal information from other clansmen. He only disclosed to a few high-level officials, including Hokage, that he owned the Mangekyou, keeping it a secret from the Uchiha clan. Shisui made this decision to prevent the explosion of the brewing rebellion plan if the Uchiha clan learned about the kaleidoscope.
In the Land of Thunder, the situation reached a life-threatening moment, forcing Shisui to use Susano'o. However, only a minority of the Uchiha clan knew the technique of Susano'o. Uzuki Yugao and Yamanaka Kaiichi couldn't recognize Susano'o. Since Natsu Uchiha was selected by the Hokage for such a crucial task, it indicated that the Third Hokage still had trust in him. Moreover, Uchiha Natsu saved their lives.
Considering the situation wasn't too dire and the risk factor was low, Uchiha Natsu decided to lead the Uchiha clan to support the patriarch. The fourth-generation Raikage would serve as a suitable test for his wooden escape techniques. Uchiha Itachi, relieved at the prospect of supporting the two crucial figures on the last battlefield, concealed his excitement.
The Uchiha clansmen swiftly prepared, and the team set off through the forest. After a day and night of travel, they finally approached their destination. Uchiha Natsu, at the forefront with his shadow clone, reached the edge of the forest, revealing a vast open space created by the intense battle. The trees were twisted, sawdust filled the air, and many branches had turned to ashes due to numerous fire escape ninjutsu attacks.
Following the edge, Uchiha Natsu's shadow clone guided the Uchiha clan toward Konoha. However, their progress was interrupted when two kunai suddenly embedded themselves in the ground before Natsu Uchiha's avatar.
The shadow clone investigated and identified two masked individuals lurking on a nearby tree, clearly from Konoha Anbu. Uchiha Natsu frowned, puzzled by their presence on the Uchiha battlefield. After a brief pause, he stepped forward and declared, "We are the Uchiha clan, and we are here to support the patriarch." The two Anbu glanced at each other before leaping down to stand before Uchiha Natsu.
"So it's you, Natsu," one of the Anbu, recognized as the captain with the code name "Jackal," spoke. Uchiha Natsu reciprocated the greeting with a smile.
Jackal, observing Natsu Uchiha, remarked, "It seems you haven't received the information yet. The decisive battle is about to begin. After this battle, the war may be over."
While conversing, Jackal also cast a surprised glance at Uchiha Natsu. During this period, he had repeatedly heard rumors about Uchiha Natsu. Among these, the most formidable involved Uchiha Yatsushiro and four others defeating the five-tailed Jinchuriki.
As far as Jackal knew, the four Uchiha members of the Uchiha Yatsushiro team had united to combat the Five-Tails Jinchuriki. One was seriously injured, and two sustained minor injuries. The only one unharmed, who ultimately turned the tide, was Natsu Uchiha.
The Five-Tails Jinchuriki could control the tailed beast and achieve a state resembling a half-tailed beast. While not on par with Yukito's Jinchuriki, capable of complete transformation, their strength surpassed that of many elite jounin. Astonishingly, Natsu Uchiha had faced the Five-Tails Jinchuriki without sustaining any injuries.
Prior to this encounter, Uchiha Natsu had undertaken a mission in Cloud Village. Employing a hundred shadow clones, he executed a peculiar technique involving self-exploding Rasengan, successfully holding back the fourth generation of Raikage. This incident had gained widespread attention in Konoha over several months.
Reflecting on this, Jackal couldn't help but feel profoundly shocked. If he were in Natsu's shoes, it would have been an impossible feat. In just over three years, Uchiha Natsu had ascended to such remarkable heights.
Three years ago, Jackal had jokingly suggested that Uchiha Natsu join Anbu. Now, he earnestly hoped for Natsu's inclusion in their ranks.
