When it hit the ground, raising dust, it was possible to see the goddess backing away from the window of the room, falling to the ground screaming... "Morrigan!!" she shouted this because the creature's leap had devastated the entire top part of the room, and it was facing the goddess aggressively. However, something made it suddenly turn in another direction, and a smaller scream was given from the other side of the field...

The creature then gathered a kind of aura around its body and leaped away, falling near the hut where the vegetables and fruits were prepared for them to eat. Morrigan then put his hands to jump to the ground of the place, and the goddess held his wrist with teary eyes... "You won't survive this monster Morrigan, let's go, you're going to throw your second chance in the trash..." she tried to stop him, and indeed, that was all he would like, his shaky legs seemed to even see the small fall from the balcony to the ground as very high, but all the anxiety and adrenaline in his teary eyes made him say, "I will be useful in this life, I have lived a whole life making useless decisions, I want to make decisions this time, I won't hide from what I fear... The monster then seemed to prepare its body for a leap, and before Morrigan could grab or notice, it received a close combat attack from the cricket in a jump so powerful that it lifted Morrigan off the ground, and the sound of some shoulder bones dislocating could be heard from the impact against his body. The cricket then slowly fell to the ground in low dust, and Zi'o's body suddenly crossed the field, falling far away, raising dust... "Morrigan!!" You're going to kill us, Eric..." the girl said as the cricket's mouth was open upwards and to the sides, and when it bit, the blood splashed to the sides, Morrigan's shoulders were full of teeth embedded and blood dripping down his body...

Surprised looks on all sides, the goddess with wide eyes pale with so much courage. Morrigan, all full of tears mixed with blood on his shoulders, said to the monster, "Don't harm them... I am the challenger of the day..." The cricket then looked into Morrigan's eyes, and the courage in the boy's eyes made the monster furious, throwing him through the teeth a few meters ahead, throwing more blood against the fields...

Morrigan fell to the ground panting, he had no physical training or knew how to fight, he was just resisting the attacks. When he got up, the cricket now had the target on the children, the younger brother trying to push it back, but the creature then broke the boy's little sword with its teeth, and then both fell to the ground, and their mother began to go towards the children, all the commotion and screams were suddenly silenced, when once again Zi'o appeared, sticking the sword into the cricket's shell on its back, making the creature turn around revolted...

It wasn't effective, the shell was too hard, and even though it had pierced it, it had caused no damage, the monster made a movement with the divisions of its claws behind it, kicking Zi'o's body back with a force so rapid impact that it was invisible to the naked eye, the attack threw Zi'o's body back again, falling on the ground...

The cricket then turned to the boy, biting him on the shoulders, lifting him off the ground, making the father and sister scream in fear, while the young Eric's body was thrown away, in Morrigan's direction, before the boy's body hit the ground, the creature hit him again, with a jump similar to the first one, and the boy was thrown against Morrigan's body, who caught him weakly being dragged a few more meters back... Lavi then screamed... "ERIC!" while Morrigan held him full of tears, seeing the boy's unconscious body, he noticed the bite taking half of the boy's shoulder, with him unconscious from the shock...

"You will become a knight, Eric... You said you would..." Morrigan said to the boy's body as the monster now seemed to want the girl, with wide eyes, she was crawling back behind the creature, which had the sole purpose of generating more fear in the child so that she would become stronger, in an attack move with its mouth, it was possible to see the family's father pushing the creature with his arms back, his back forcing the monster away, preventing it from biting them...

Morrigan then began to run towards the monster with the sword in hand, after leaving the body of the little Eric on the ground, "My family, all my story in this place... You won't harm them... Gauvan tried to stop that creature, but the monster attacked him with claws on his back, taking him to the ground and slamming his body against him, sinking into the ground... completely unconscious the father of the family...

The screams of despair then began, from Lavi's mother, and from the goddess trying to descend from the balcony of the room, but her legs wouldn't move, and all she could do was clasp her hands and try to find strength, the last attack of the cricket was against the girl, but its mouth was caught against Morrigan's sword, and he said with his bloody body holding the whole creature with his dislocated arms... The Monster then began to glow in a different color, a yellowish aura seemed to emerge from the terrifying creature, and as it emitted a powerful sound, it opened its mouth ready to shred Morrigan's body along with his sword... and at that moment, the girl Lavi clung to Zi'o's legs to try to give him courage to win the fight... "Please... I don't want to live like this forever..." she said as the goddess looked up, hearing a clock sound again in Morrigan's direction, and he, gritting his teeth in fury, seemed to go head-to-head with the creature with his heart beating very fast and his mind completely melted from the battle..

Morrigan struck the monster's body with the sword, and the monster struck Morrigan's injured shoulder again, both then being thrown away... However, there was something different... Morrigan was emitting a white-blueish glow... and the goddess seemed to hear the sounds of the clock over the boy's body... A strong "Dong" of a gong sounded, and Morrigan then, with eyes filled with a mysterious energy, seemed to place the sword forward towards the creature.... Morrigan didn't seem to be aware of that energy, the knights when reaching the peak of their courage, awakened a hidden power on the left side of their body, where the heart was, a flame ignited, the flame that gave them the power to defeat their enemies.
