(Prologue) (N)

KOHAKU KURO'S POV:

"ugh.." I groaned in pain while touching my head with blood-stained hands. My head throbbed as if I got hit by a car.

"Ambulance! Call an ambulance!" I heard a faint voice shouted not far from where I am. My head rang as my vision was getting blurry. I tightened my jaw trying to get a hold of myself on what was happening. I felt like the bones inside my body were all broken as I can't move an inch.

"There's an accident! Quick call the ambulance!" the same worried and panic voice shouted again.

"An accident?" I mumbled to myself as I tried to focus my eyes on something. A faint smile appeared on my lips as a sudden realization hit me.

"Ah... I see I remembered... I got hit by a truck— just to save the little girl.." I whispered as I slowly closed my eyes with the last thing I heard was the faint sound of an ambulance.
