Chapter 4: Going to Prep School!

Well… another year has passed and I'm now 6 years old! What a journey! A journey of doing nothing but cultivating all year round!

What a boring task to do when I got no other option but to cultivate! Well… I got to experience this early as my future would be full of dangers, well, I already anticipated it based on the monster meats my father and mother brought into the house. Some of them are even heinous-looking monsters! I wonder where and how they killed that sh*t.

Anyways! After celebrating my 6th year, I improved every aspect of my mana and body levels! Although the Body art was quite slow, I got a significant improvement on them!

I also upgraded the system to level 4 and got new a new ability! A scanning ability!

*Scan (Lv. 1): Able to scan anything. (Can only scan people who have cultivation below Soul Grade.)*

* Instant Transmission (Lv.2): Able to teleport for 25 meters away. *

Although both require 10 master points to be upgraded to level 2, I didn't have any points required after upgrading the instant transmission to level 2. Sigh~

After celebrating my birthday, my parents talked to me and told me that I need to attend a preparatory school from now on, which didn't surprise me actually. If we're living in a base or a city-like location, most probably, there would be schools or sects. But, since this world has schools, then I wonder if there would be colleges too? I'll know it soon enough though.

As per my parents, I will start to attend school in June so I only have 5-6 months to prepare for my school life! I wonder, what kind of culture do the people in this world have with regard to their education?

6 months passed and with both my body and mana reaching soul grade, I felt more powerful and refreshed. It felt like I got a lot of energy to spare, but not to the point of exploding. I know some novel facts that if the mana is too much, the body will deteriorate fast, so I fully understood why the system puts some limit before. But now, that both my body and mana were in soul stage, I really need to reach another grade just to get that limit again, which will take some time, and I got a lot of time (I mean, years) to waste!

Before we traveled to my school, Sarah and my parents went on to shop for things with me such as writing notebooks, pens, bags, and lunch boxes. After that, we ate at a restaurant and got a delicious meal! My mother also bought me new clothing to use for everyday school!

Now this is the best experience I got since I was reborn. And, after a few days, I and Sarah were already traveling toward my school named "Kalami" Prep School, the same name as this base, Kalami Base.

As we near the prep school, I already saw many kids like me being brought by their parents and butlers towards the gate the prep school. And as we got near the gates, I was amazed by the design of the gate as it felt like an art instead of a normal school gate. It has an iron carving of two flying dragons on both sides and was made to meet each other in the middle. What an art! I wonder who carved this gate!?

Ahh… my love for art… hasn't died yet after all these years hahaha!

Well… I got to make a simple facial expression so I won't get much attention later on.

And, as we walk inside the school grounds, I saw a much larger count of people! An ocean of people! I wonder how many kids would this school take!? Are they going to take them all in? How large is this prep school!?
