I liked this one. Don't know if it was because I stayed away from webnovel for a while or something else, but this just seemed really easy to keep reading. I don't have any qualms about it, and I really enjoyed the story. To be honest, me being able to say even that has made me quite happy which... shouldn't be a good thing, however, with the absolute state of things the trial reads were when I took a break from Webnovel its a massive improvement. Try to read this one, you might just enjoy it.

This is one of the types of novels that surprises me, i've read tons of novels with roughtly the same synopsis, most of them are trash, this one is ok but because of the amount of trash this one shines brighter than it should. I've readed to the last chapter, some of the good points in this novel would be that the system is a big help but it doesn't make the protagonist absurdly overpowered and enemies are belivable strong with regards of their backgrounds. Some bad would be the incapability of thr MC to stay out of trouble, the ability of leveling up passives but only having 1 leveled up.

Mc is rutheless and kinda evil though sadly also a bit hypocritical but when compared to other Chinese protags Mc hasnt even touched the concept of hypocrosy Story seems rather good and fast paced so there doesnt seems to be 200 to 400 chapter waits so that he can rise in one rank

Awful. Translation. The most obvious thing you’ll see is that the mc will say something, and then “think” it. Example: “I need to be stronger!” The MC believed that he needed to be stronger. Other than that, the story is pretty interesting (but definitely not enough for me to invest in this novel past the free chapters.)

Can anyone recommend me something like this, please? I've been tryna look for a similar novel but all are trash-ass novels. Don't include sign in buddha palm because i read it, lost interest half way but it's a good read.

So far, chapter 40, a great story, with proper development, an interesting system and secrets about the sect that are slowly revealed, if I had to complain about anything it would be that the "passives" are either extremely useful or extremely limited by specific situations .

Really enjoyable novel compared to the trash that's been released lately. The novel definitely has a darker tone in it's theme and really gives off a feeling of suspense and cutthroat world. I like how MC's naivety is lessening as the story progresses and he's becoming more cold and calculating to survive in the environment that he's in.

Seems pretty interesting and unlike all the other cookie cutter ones we have been getting recently. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
