4 Peak Qi Gathering Realm

Outside the chaos.

Five people the size of several thousand universes sat around a huge mountain, there was no light outside the chaos and their auras were concealed and only dark shadows could be made out.

"You can feel it right?"

"Yes, someone destroyed the chaos"

"Only a creator is capable of destroying the chaos"

"How is that possible? Only the five of us are creators and we've been keeping an eye on each other long before the second chaos existed"

The huge figures started murmuring to each other and it turned to an inaudible mess as everyone tried to get their views across. The continuous murmuring didn't seem to bother them as much, it seemed they could still understand each other even when speaking at the same time and at high speeds.

After an unknow amount of time.

"Okay, let's all calm down" a slow trembling voice spoke and the others stopped speaking, "I called you here not only to discuss the matter of someone interfering with time, but also to discuss an uncontrollable variable that has appeared in the chaos"

Heavenly Palace, Hall (A rank one sect)

"Is it done?" A crude, sharp voice echoed throughout the huge hall.

It was the voice of the Heavenly Palace's Sect Master, Liu Jian. He sat on a huge golden throne at the end of the hall and a middle-aged man covered in black knelt before him, he was Zhang Wei, an elder of the Heavenly Palace.

"It went perfectly, the Chen sect was completely wiped out. Only the Chen family's useless young master who was out on a mission survived, but don't worry, I've already sent my men to deal with it they should be back right about n…"

Before Zhang Wei could finish speaking, the door swung open and someone came in running.

"Elder Zhang, something happened…" he spoke as he struggled to catch his breath.

Two hours earlier, Chen sect.

"Since you're already here, why don't you show yourselves"

"Hehehe, the Chen family young master is really impressive, or should I call you Sect Master Chen?"

A brash, cocky voice spoke as two figures emerged from seemingly nowhere.

"To be able to see through my concealment technique even without cultivation, as expected of a former genius. Too bad you're going to die here today"

The other voice spoke as they both drew their swords and pointed them at Chen Mo.

"Who are you guys?" Chen Mo asked in a soft, calm voice and remained expressionless to their earlier provocation.

'I was thinking of trying out my new skills but didn't have people to try them on, it seems that the heavens are on my side, I have to thank them for giving me such fine specimen'

"A dead man doesn't need to know that?" 

One of the men shouted as he charged at Chen Mo and swung his sword.

Chen Mo calmly bent down to dodge the sword slash and placed his hand on the man's stomach.

The man felt a sense of danger and immediately backed away.

"Senior brother, why are you going easy on him?" the other man asked in an irritated tone.

"Hahaha, I just wasn't paying attention" he said trying to regain his composure but deep inside he thought, 

'I clearly used my full power; how could he dodge my attack so easily? He clearly has no cultivation and I'm at the peak of Qi Gathering'

Chen Mo slowly pulled back his hand as he thought of what he had acquired, 

'So, this is cultivation huh, I understand now. I managed to dodge that guy's attack by manipulating the infonts around myself but this method consumes too much stamina, but if I was to attain cultivation, it could increase my stamina limit and I'd be able to use my skills more freely'

'It seems that my guess was right, although my powers are great, they are based on the amount of infonts I can process. As I am now, I can't process much and would lose if I fought against a high-level cultivator. I need to gather enough cultivation and infonts to upgrade my brain's processing power. Although I have a cultivation now, I don't have any cultivation talent and thus I'll have to find other cultivators to copy data from in order to upgrade my cultivation'

From the infonts gathered by Chen Mo, he learnt that there are ten stages of cultivation each having nine levels. One needs to reach the ninth level of each stage in order to break through to the next stage.

The cultivation stages are: Qi Gathering, Foundation Establishment, Core Formation, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, Soul Formation. Void Traversing, Soul and Body Integration, Tribulation Transcendence, and Mahayana 

"What are you standing there on a daze for? Let's attack him together" Mo Zu shouted and they both drew their swords as they launched themselves at Chen Mo.

'Oh, I forgot these guys were still here'

A long sword materialized in Chen Mo's hand,

'Although I'm not proficient in weapon making, generating a sword I've seen before from memory isn't that hard, although it does consume a considerable amount of spiritual energy'

Chen Mo had already gained some sword skills and other techniques when he had scanned the brothers earlier and so he quickly dispatched them by using his newly learned skills.

"You, the one that's hiding, go tell your sect master to wash his neck for me"

Chen Mo spoke as he turned around and entered the sect building.

'How did he notice me? My concealment technique is one of the best among the junior disciples, even a peak Foundation Establishment would have trouble finding me'

"So that's what happened, it seems that the Chen family young master found a way to recover his cultivation, but it's no big deal, all we have to do is send an even stronger person to kill him. Even though he's recovered his cultivation, he's at most an early stage Foundation Establishment at best" the tenth elder spoke in a proud tone as if eying a prey.

"That make's sense, I'll do as the elder says" the disciple stood up and cupped his fist and bowed before leaving the hall.

"Good, good. Chen family, this grudge must be paid in blood" the elder spoke as a sinister smile formed on his face.
