30 Chapter 30: Special Floor

Argon immediately shifted his gaze toward the human encampment, where he witnessed the humans utilizing the returner stone to teleport outside the dungeon.

"These guys flee at the first sign of trouble," Argon muttered, clicking his tongue. He wasn't concerned about their absence, though. His dungeon was too enticing for any creatures, and humans were inherently greedy. He knew they would return, even if it meant risking their lives.

"Eh," Argon's gaze wandered not far from the camp. Shortly after, he spotted a group of people besieging a second-stage body tempering goblin rider.

It was Arnoux and his group, accompanied by five goblin rider corpses strewn on the ground.

"They managed to defeat six goblin riders with just seven people," he mused, slightly taken aback.

After all, goblin riders were stronger than any humans encountered thus far. Yet, these individuals triumphed over the goblins in what appeared to be one-on-one battles, or at least close to it.

This meant their combat prowess exceeded that of your average cultivators.

"Then, if that's the case, they shouldn't have been so helpless when attacked by the wolves," he pondered, puzzled.

Argon squinted his eyes, focusing his vision on Arnoux. In the next moment, he noticed a reddish hue enveloping Arnoux's body, with blood-red eyes following suit. The same transformation occurred in the others. They attacked the poor goblin rider like frenzied beings, succumbing to a berserk state.

"Interesting... This might be due to their bloodline," he surmised.

After some time, Argon didn't dwell on it for too long. Instead, he turned to the system to inquire about the reward.

"System, what is a special floor?"

[A special floor is a designated floor for the host, always being the final floor. For instance, if people manage to clear the first floor, they will be teleported to the special floor. However, if you purchase a second floor, the special floor will move next to the second floor. In essence, the special floor serves as the dungeon's ultimate defense.]

"Okay, I understand."

With that, Argon teleported to the special floor, brimming with excitement to see what lay ahead.

In the next instant, Argon found himself inside the throne room. As he looked around, he was awestruck by the breathtaking beauty of the place. Enormous dragon pillars adorned each side, providing support and grandeur.

Argon shifted his gaze forward, spotting a magnificent dragon throne in the distance, accompanied by the heart of the dungeon. The room itself was vast, five times the size of a football field. Argon took flight and made his way toward the throne, but it took some time due to the room's considerable expanse.

With great anticipation, Argon eagerly seated himself on the throne. In the next moment, a flood of information inundated his mind, providing details about the various rooms and other essential aspects.

Moreover, sitting on the throne granted him enhanced perception of the dungeon's events. He could now clearly observe Arnoux's group, still in a daze as they processed the recent encounter.

As he absorbed the information, the system delivered yet another piece of exciting news.

[Reminder to the host: There is a new subordinate gacha section in the system. The host should explore it immediately.]
