21 Chapter 21: Taming The Wolves

Argon teleported immediately to the entrance, his eyes widening as he saw rows of people. However, he quickly calmed down when he realized that the strongest person there was only at the second stage of Building Base.

Fortunately, he still had the shield that protected the heart of the dungeon, capable of withstanding attacks from Qi Gathering Realm cultivators. With that shield in place, all his worries disappeared.

Furthermore, there was a hobgoblin at the third stage of Building Base, one stage higher than the strongest among these people.

"But the number of enemies is a little problematic."

After all, he only had two hundred-plus monsters in the dungeon, while the enemy had over two thousand cultivators.

"Well, as long as there are no cultivators in the Golden Core realm, I should be safe."

Argon felt excitement surging within him. In his eyes, all these people were potential soul coins.

"As you wish, My Lord," the hobgoblin replied respectfully.

A few minutes later, all the goblins assembled at the center of the village. Argon arrived shortly after, and upon seeing him, all the goblins kneeled down.

"Rise..." All the goblins stood up in unison. Argon couldn't help but click his tongue; they were nothing like the goblins portrayed on Earth.

"Right now, a human army is invading the dungeon... And I want all of you to cooperate with the wolves. If you can tame the wolves, it will greatly aid you in fighting the humans."

His plan was to combine the goblins and wolves, forming a cavalry-like force. Most goblins used small swords and blunt weapons, so it shouldn't pose a problem.

"As you wish, My Lord."

"System, can I teleport monsters?"

[The host can.]

"That's good then." If he couldn't, it would be a huge problem, as the other side was blocked by a mountain.

Argon had already used mind transmission to call all the wolves. Now, all that remained was to teleport all the goblins.

Without wasting any more time, Argon teleported all the goblins to the wolf den.

In the next moment, all the wolves in the boss room bared their fangs at the uninvited goblins appearing out of thin air.

"Stop!!" All the wolves immediately behaved upon hearing Argon's command. Argon then communicated with the wolves in his mind.

"All of you... need to become companions with the goblins... Understand?!"

He wasn't even sure if the wolves understood him, but he could only sigh helplessly. He turned around to look at the goblins.

"Alright, you are on your own now. Find a way to tame them."

Everyone began cautiously approaching the wolves, and surprisingly, the wolves didn't attack the goblins.
