[The day of the gala]

Katherine woke up bright and early, she even woke up earlier than Xander that morning and after taking her bath, she went to the kitchen and took the opportunity to cook for her husband.

The pan was sizzling as a delightful aroma filled the entire kitchen, Katherine added a little bit of soy sauce to the beef stir fry that she was cooking. She had already cooked rice and other side dishes, the beef stir fry was the last dish that she was making. She was cutting some apples when she felt xander suddenly hug her from behind.

"Good Morning my love." Said the handsome man with a husky morning voice. She turned around to look at his gorgeous face before a sweet smile graced her lips and she answered - "Good Morning Mr Ling, how was your sleep." Xander reached out his hand and caressed her smooth cheek before saying "Hm, it was fine. Though it would have been better if we made love." He winked at her, a mischievous grin plastered on his face.
