28 No Way In Hell

Katherine stood there in Xander's embrace frozen like a statue, his words kept replaying in her head like a broken record. "Is this a dream? I'm i dead?"Katherine asked herself in her mind.

She couldn't believe she was hearing Xander say all this, that he loved her, during that one year she had dreamt about this moment almost every single night and now that it was truly happening she didn't know how to react. If he had done this three years ago she would have believed his confession and agreed to marry him in a heartbeat.

But now things have drastically changed, she's no longer that same naive and stupid girl, after being betrayed and sold by Tom whom she had agreed to marry believing his confession and sweet words about her.

Katherine had built steel walls around her heart, she would no longer be deceived again, after all the things that BEPBU did to her right now her only mission in life it to seek her revenge and destroy them, she's no longer interested in finding love or marrying anybody, she had decided to remain single for the rest of her life because that is better than trusting a man's words only to be betrayed and hurt at the end.

With this resolution in mind Katherine slightly pushed Xander breaking away from the hug and coldly said "I told you that Katherine is dead, she had been dead for a while now and I'm certainly not her so stop spewing nonsense and get back to bed. You can rest for a couple more hours and then later my helicopter will take you and your men back to where ever you came from."

"I don't know what they did to you Katherine but I know you are the one, I heard your conversation just a few minutes ago and my heart that is beating for you only has recognized you. Please stop denying the truth, I know you have been hurt and betrayed in a very cruel way but believe me when I say this, I would rather die a thousand deaths than ever betray you" Xander softly said trying to persuade her.

He had been crazy in love with with this woman for the past three years, when he heard that she had been kidnapped he almost went crazy, he tortured Tom to the brink of death and that is how he was able to find out that he had sold her to this dangerous organization that only a few people knows about it's existence, and even fewer people believe that it actually does exist some think that it's only a myth.

After brutally torturing and killing Tom he realized that Tom was just a pawn and that there was someone behind this betrayal, the true mastermind, but unfortunately after killing Tom he wasn't able to find anything that could lead him to the person so he decided to focus on finding Katherine first, luckily for him as the king of the underworld even though it was extremely difficult to track BEPBU down, he managed to do it, the only problem was that they were always changing their location, and whenever he was able to track them down by the time he had arrived they were already gone.

He gazed at the woman standing in front of him, he knows that she had been through a lot and it wouldn't be easy to accept and trust people now but she is the woman he loves, he would give his life for her and no matter how many times she pushes him away he would never leave her again. She is the only reason he is alive.

Katherine was about to lose it right now, her heart is beating faster and seeing the sincerity in his eyes is making her want to give him a hug. No, she wouldn't be a weak little girl again, she vowed never to trust or love any man again and that's final.

She lost her cool and shouted at him "So what if I'm Katherine huh? What? Do you expect me to kiss you and marry you right away? I'm not that stupid and naive anymore and for all I know someone might have sent you here to kill me or drag me back to BEPBU! Tell me, did they contact you because they know that I knew you in the past? They did send you here to kill me or worse bring me back to them?"

"No I swear Katherine I'm not here to cause you harm in anyway, I just happen to coincidentally run it to you while tracking BEPBU down. I have been looking for you for the past three years now Katherine you have to believe me, I love you " Xander gently said to Katherine and then brought his hand to touch her face but she swatted his hand away and harshly said.

"I still don't trust you but since you have saved my life in the past I will let you live. Now we are even. Leave this place and forget about Katherine, Yes I am Katherine, at least I used to be in the past but not anymore, to me Katherine is dead and it would be better for you to consider her dead as well, it will be easier for you to let her g-"

Katherine didn't get the chance to finish her words because Xander had put his large arm around her waist and tugged her towards him, he pressed her body to his until not even air could pass between them, he could hear her heart beating fast and loud and she could hear his heart beating even faster and louder.

He caressed her smooth and soft cheeks and with a deep and husky voice he said:

"Now you listen to me Miss Katherine Kenneth, there is no way in hell I would ever let you go! You are mine to love, mine to cherish, mine to touch, mine to hold, mine to grow old with, and even if we grow old and die my soul would still search for yours and make you mine, you are mine and mine alone and I would have it no any other way." There was dangerous edge in his tone.

Katherine felt a cold shiver run down her spine and when she looked at his dangerous yet beautiful brown eyes and his irresistible sexy lips she gulped, she was about to open her mouth and protest when he suddenly crashed his lips to hers and began kissing her passionately.

Her eyes widened but then feeling his soft and demanding lips upon her own made her close her eyes, his kisses were needy, gentle, passionate and rough at the same time, and surprisingly Katherine returned his kisses with the same passion and need.

She gasped when he bit her bottom lip and he took the opportunity to thrust his sleek tongue in her mouth, and very soon their tongues were tangled together with his completely dominating hers, Katherine moaned when he gently squeezed her waist and his kisses became even more intense, hearing her moan made Xander almost lost control and he kissed her even harder like a starved man, he didn't stop kissing her until she tapped his shoulder begging him for air which made him instantly break the kiss and allow her to breath.

Katherine greedily sucked in the air, her breath was shallowed, her face was as red as a ripe tomato, her eyes were dilated, her chest was heaving up and down while she inhaled the much needed air, her thoughts were muddled and she couldn't think properly right now, if Xander was not holding her her waist making her lean on him her legs would have given out on her and she would have fell on the floor right now.

Xander pressed his forehead on Katherine's and softly asked with a husky voice "Are we clear about that my sweet?" Katherine who was a total mess right now could only slightly nod her head, her body had turned totally weak against him, this was her first kiss after all, what she didn't know is that it was also Xander's first kiss.

Xander held her hand and led her towards the bed, he first sat down and then made her sit beside him, Katherine quietly sat down because right now her brain was in shambles. Seeing the effect he had on her Xander rejoiced internally.

He gently squeezed her hand that he was holding and said "Katherine I know you are hurt but please allow me to help you heal, I'm not not asking you to immediately return my feelings, we can do it one step at a time, i will not force you to give me your heart or body Katherine but i will work hard to earn your love and trust until you accept me and willingly give all of you to me. All I'm asking you is that please don't push me away Katherine, please give me a chance."
