Chris was standing in front of one of the counters inside the World Bank's building, located in the Moon Empire. It is currently the end of the last month, and the player auction will start at night, which is half a day from now, so he was here.

It was just a two-story building that could accommodate up to 10,000 players at a time. Although they have grandiose buildings in the real world, they just have ordinary ones in Gaia.

As the one that backs up, or rather, is backed up by the Heavenly Group, a huge plot of land on each of the 12 starting empires in Gaia, as well as their respective cities, were allocated to the World Bank. Although the allocated lands were huge, they only built simple, two-story buildings, as their establishments here in-game were treated as guild.

The clerk on the counter who was attending to him was sweating buckets, as she had never encountered such an insane transaction before and didn't even know how to handle it.

Luckily for him, even if the bank was incredibly packed with people waiting in line today, they gave way the moment they saw him, which he gladly accepted as it might even take a whole day before he reached the counter. He's in a rush too, as he needs to reach his destination before his system, Alice, wakes up.

His mouth kept on twitching behind his mask as he shook the hand of the tense head manager. The man's hand was pretty cold and sweaty while shaking non-stop as if the manager was in front of a ghost.

The manager led him inside a wide, luxurious room, and they immediately got straight to the point. Although somewhat starstruck, the manager was still a professional, so he instantly became serious.

It has been a few days since Chris took down the world boss and was finally with Hannah again. In these past few days, they were almost always glued together, so much so that he almost didn't make any progress on his travels towards the south.

There were also times when they became so attached to each other that they almost did adult things in-game. They are, after all, both healthy teenagers. Unfortunately for them, a girl will always arrive just in time to ruin it, much to the chagrin of the lovebirds. For the time being, they can only settle for hugs and kisses.

In-game rules prohibit male players from casually touching female players. If they do, they will be struck by an insta-kill lightning bolt from the sky. But if the girl consented, nothing would happen, and they can even do adult things in-game.

They had to temporarily separate again due to their numerous responsibilities, but they can simply meet whenever they want as it is only one teleportation scroll away. After all, Chris activated a savepoint inside the Radiant Wings HQ, and they have their own private chat room that is always on, allowing them to respond to each other almost instantly.

Hannah, on the other hand, was forbidden by her aide, Miya, from making a savepoint on the Lazy Dragons HQ because the latter was concerned that the two would do some adult stuff in there, leaving the former disappointed and pouting a lot.

Aside from his love life, Chris used his medallions to claim all of the items from the NPC-Giftmaster. He was also the absolute number one in medallion count, so the game system gave him the reward ahead of time, as well as the damage count on the world boss that he even killed.

All the rewards he received from that event was opened a day ago and distributed them to his beloved, his friends, and his beloved's friends, all of whom are present because they are having a late celebration. They are the same raid party for the world boss, with the same 50 members.

He also placed some items in his guild treasury, which motivated every single member to work even harder in order to exchange for those items. And, because he has too much, he donated a lot of items and currencies to the treasuries of the Radiant Wings and Dark Divas.

Despite the fact that the members had no idea why he did it, it made all of the girls in each guild squeal with delight and say flirtatious words towards him, earning him a bonk on the head from his silver-haired girlfriend. Only the upper echelons of each guild were aware of his true identity, and none of them will ever reveal it.

The only things that he kept are items that would be useful to him. One of them was a god-ranked bracelet that he got from the three ultimate gift boxes that dropped from the world boss. There was an earring and a necklace too, but Hannah snatched them both. The necklace was for herself, and the earring was for her aide, Miya. He didn't mind, as Miya was like a big sister to him.

A deep sigh of relief escaped his lips, and he murmured aloud that his inventory was once again clean. The 49 people in the room rolled their eyes at him. Such incredible treasures sounded like trash to this guy, and Hannah even bonked him again for his attitude.

The remaining 46 people in that room who were celebrating with him received either a pet or a mount egg from him, and he even added evolution items to boost their rank. If the pet or mount egg's ranks are upgraded and the appropriate ingredient is used, it will automatically become a warpet that can be joined in battle or just be mounted.

Since they're all higher-ups in their own respective guilds, it's kind of badass. That was what a certain fatty said...

Chris and the manager finally finished their talks a few minutes later. The bank will receive 2% of total sales, with the remainder going into his bank account. It was in Gils because Chris needs to invest in Glaze City to improve it.

It was actually too much, as the money he'd get from just one or two epic-ranked skillbooks would be enough to keep the city running for decades. The manager was actually concerned about whether the world had enough Gils to buy all of the books he listed. But one thing is certain: once everything is sold, he will be the richest man in Gilona.

"Ah! By the way, once the auction for my items begins, inform the people inside that if I find their bid satisfactory, I'll give five epic-ranked skillbooks to a legendary taker and five elite-ranked skillbooks to an epic taker for free..."

To this day, the balding manager will go completely bald...

Even though Chris was treated as an enemy by many, and throwing away this many skillbooks may come back to bite him, he doesn't see it as a threat to him at all, as he has made incredible progress in the game, and for his combat weakness, he's already being trained by the old mayor, who was his grandmaster and old Bert.

After leaving the bank, he tore a scroll and was instantly teleported to the farthest place he had ever been. He then logged out right away because he had a tough training session in the real world waiting for him.
