3 Pa... Pan...

I don't know how long I kept falling into this infinite void, days maybe? The sensation of falling was gone; I felt like I was just frozen in my position. What was even weirder, I didn't feel the need to sleep or eat or do anything that a human should do to keep himself alive.

The only explanation I could accept was that I had a heart attack, was in a coma, and was in a hospital bed, dreaming of something completely unrealistic... A cat in human form judging me? A criminal mouse poisoned me? I really should see a therapist after waking up.

A very bright white light began to form below me; the more I fell, the more the light blinded me to the point where I could no longer keep my eyes open; I covered them with my arms.

What will happen if I fall into this light? Will I wake up? Is it the gates of heaven? Or the entrance to... Hell? I had no answers. There was nothing I could do in my condition; accepting what would happen was my only choice, and I hated the sensation.

The light engulfed me entirely.

I felt like my body dropped a few inches as my hands touched the bottom. Feeling the sensation I never thought I would feel again.

I slowly opened my eyes, and green grass planted on the ground entered my vision. A bright light gradually filled my eyes as I finally recognized that it was no longer dark. I gasped several times; trying to look left and right, only to see grass, trees ... bamboo spread on the horizon.

Fuck! Wasn't I supposed to wake up in a hospital bed, What the hell am I doing in a forest.

I raised my hands to rub my eyes, and instead of touching my eyes directly, I touched my nose... did I have a long nose? no, I don't think so. So I tried to feel my face. It felt strange as I traced my pointy nose.

Noticing this, I couldn't help but look at my hands... they were covered with black fur, their shape was like...

Paws!

"Boo-boo-boo"

I looked towards the direction from which the strange noise emanated, just to see... a creature 6 feet long, with black and white fur.

A Panda! A giant Panda!

On all fours, it approached me and opened its mouth; its jaw was very imposing, this is where I was supposed to freak out, but I wasn't afraid... The Panda grabbed me and put me on its back; instinctively, I held on to it to avoid falling off and it headed towards a place unknown to me.

... and there I realized something.

It was real! I really died!

And I'm reincarnated as a baby Panda!
