"He made many connections and we are one of his connection and since he works in the mayor office, we too need to keep good relations with him for the sake of it. He invited the Fords and if no one from us shows up then it would be equivalent to we insulting him."

"Yes, many of them. Every party that we are invited to, we have to attend it. It is fine if we don't spend a long time there but we have to make an appearance and meet the hosts. Show them our face to prove we were here. Then we can leave"
