47 Chapter 47: Departure

Jiang lei enjoyed this life very much where he doesn't have to fight for his life all the time and he could live a life full of happiness.

When he stepped out, he found all the villagers gathered outside his room.

"Jiang Lei, you'll be on a long journey. You might get hungry, so we've prepared some food for your travels," Bai Zheng said while handing him a bag filled with food."

"Thank you, Head Bai," 

Bai Zheng hesitated for a moment before taking out a pendant, and handling it also to Jiang Lei.

"Jiang Lei, we are not very rich and we can't give you anything that can be useful for you, we can only give this to you, this is a pendant all of us wear, we believe that you are also a member of our village, so please take this."

Jiang Lei took the pandent and looked at it, it wasn't fancy at all, just a normal pendant with a red stone pierced and a thread.

"Head Bai, I am a member of this village, and I'll always remember about it.

Bai Zheng smiled listening this, he felt very relieved.

"Jiang Lei, I have one last request," He added, his voice filled with concern. ""Jiang lei please listen to me, don't fight that monster, Just go back to the sect and inform them about it. By the time they respond, that monster won't be able to harm us."

Bai Zheng's eyes still held the memory of the monster's terror. He couldn't bear the thought of Jiang Lei facing the same fate, especially when they wouldn't be around to help him.

Jiang Lei smiled understandingly. "Head Bai, you still don't believe that I can't defeat that monster, right? Wait! let me show you.""

With those words, fiery wings appeared from his back, and he soared into the sky. Flames enveloped his entire body, and a blazing sword appeared in his hand.

"Head Bai, do you still think I can't defeat that monster?" he shouted, his voice echoing through the village.

The villagers were left in awe, watching Jiang Lei's transformation. With his handsome appearance and fiery aura, he looked like a true fire god.

Jiang lei looked at the three children whose small mouth were opend to the point that an egg could fit in them.

"Little Devils, wait for me, I'll come back one day."

His gaze fell on all the villagers, he looked at everyone one last time.

Everyone, wait for me, I'll come back one day."

The voice again echoed through the village, awakening villagers from their trance, but before they could react, Jiang lei had already vanished in the vast horizon.

"Grandpa, Brother Jiang was actually looking like a God, is he a god." Zhang Wei asked with admiration in his voice.

Bai Zheng smiled, "Yes, he is a god, atleast for us, he is."
