12 Going to the next city

At dawn.

*Beep* *Beep*

The sound of an alarm of a phone could be heard. Hearing the alarm Kelvin woke up and looked around himself. He saw that he was sleeping with Sara inside the sleeping bag.

It was warm inside since they were using one sleeping bag. It wasn't hot because Sara's external body temperature was low.

They were both naked. Kelvin could feel Sara's body wrapped around him. Sara was hugging him inside.

After a few moments Sara woke up and saw Kelvin staring at her. She moved her head up and kissed him.

Kelvin was a bit surprised at her self initiative to kiss him. He also remembered she would do somethings that he didn't tell her to do.

Then he got out of the sleeping bag and helped her get out too.

After that they wore their clothes.

Then they started having breakfast. Kelvin was again surprised to see that she was also eating food.

'I will find out the reason later.'

Right now they were riding on the BMX bike they took from the shop.

They were going to the next city. It was the neighboring city to the one they were living until now. Kelvin decided to go that city because it was a big commercial city.

The city was crowded from dawn till dusk. People from other city's would also come there for work, shopping, sightseeing etc.

Since it was a busy city before the apocalypse then there should be a lot of zombies there.

Kelvin wanted to know the limit of his power. He also wanted to confirm if he only had zombie control and regeneration.

Right now they were on a highway to the next city.(Let's call it 'City-A' from now on)

They were moving with the max speed of the bike. There was no abandoned vehicles on the highway so they could go with any care.

Kelvin was obviously the one driving. Sara was on the back holding his waist tightly with both her hands so that she wouldn't fall down.

On the way they saw a Gas Station so they stopped there refill the bike.

"Get off Sara." He told Sara as he got off from the bike.

Then he started filling the bike with fuel.

There was a convenience store right next to the station so he decided to go there.

"Follow me." He walked to the store with Sara following behind him.

The door of the store was open so he assumed that it was open during the virus outbreak.

When got inside he saw there were couple of zombies.

"Hey you. Get me 2 bottles of coke." He told the zombie who was nearest to him.(It's not Sara)

After drinking the coke he went back to his bike and they started going the way were going.

After 1 hour they reached City-A.
