1 The New Beginning

In a dark alley, there were constant loud thud noises. If you looked closely, you could see a middle-aged man lying on the floor while getting beat up by a bunch of hoodlums. His eyes were absent from the pain as if death was staring him in the face, and he could feel his consciousness fading away.

"So this is how I die, huh? If I had a second chance in life, I would strive to be the strongest, so I wouldn't have to live like a subhuman. But, there is no such thing as 'if'."

He breathed a sigh of relief and closed his eyes with a slight smile on his face.

He abruptly opened his eyes, hearing those noises and tried to observe his surrounding, but he couldn't look beyond 5 cm. So, he looked at himself, only to be shocked beyond words.

His human legs were nowhere to be seen, only to be replaced by six brown exoskeleton legs made up of a material called chitin. He also could see two antennas hanging from the side of his head.

"Where the hell am I?, What am I? And How am I still alive?"

He tried to shout, but no noise could come out of his mouth. While in confusion, he tried to run, only to collide with other ants. He continued running and colliding for hours until he got exhausted and fell asleep.

The next day he woke up and tried to remain calm since being anxious would be of no help in the situation.

All the running had made him hungry, and hunting was the only way to obtain food. So, tried to communicate with other ants by rubbing his jaws together. After knowing which group was going for the hunt, he joined them.

A group of ants went in a line in search of food, and after 30 minutes they found a small lizard. After surrounding it, they managed to kill it after 15 minutes, and suddenly he heard a sound in his head.
