~CHAPTER 12~

"Get inside," the man states while opening a car door for her. It was a black Lamborghini Gallardo that welcomed us at the end of the forest.

"First, tell me, why are you doing this?" With folded arms, she looked at him.

"Either you can sit in the car, or I can leave you here stranded for them to capture you again." He says.

She grumbles but settles inside. "Fine! But you will tell me the truth, Eli," she announces and sits inside.

The car starts moving. Myra looks sideways at the window to avoid eye contact. The questions kept rising in her mind. Why would Eli, one of the scarred man guards would protect her and help her escape? Maybe this was his plan. Should I get out of a running car?

"Whatever you are thinking, I should warn you that it will be the worst idea to execute," Eli says.

"How do you know what I am thinking?"

A smirk appears on his face. "You forgot that I have been watching you for the past few hours. The decisions that you took were simply stupid."
