~CHAPTER 10~

"Aghh!"

Myra woke up with a massive headache. One side of her forehead felt as if someone was hammering it. She tried to move her arms side to side so that she could massage her head, yet she couldn't. Her eyes began to shut from the pain, which didn't help either.

Finally, after many attempts, she gets successful in opening her eyes. While what she saw was blurry but she could still see her hands tied up.

"Help!" She loudly screamed but got no response. Again she yelled, which might've damaged her vocal cords.

Suddenly with a thud sound, she heard a door opening. "They should've taped your mouth, those bastards." There was no strength left in her body to even look up at the guard.

The guard left the woman and rushed outside to seek someone. If she got dead in his care, the boss would rip his eyes out.

"She's awake."
