1 MEET THE CHARACTERS

SOFIA BRINGS, 18 years old

Sofia is the protagonist, she's telling her own story. She lives in Cole Valley, a suburban area of San Francisco, with her parents Scarlett and Tobias and her ten-year-old brother Sven. It's a normal life, just like that of many teenagers of her age; she's a senior in high school, she loves animals (her parents are vets), and she has the black belt in karate! Sofia is extroverse and friendly and popular with friends. She is getting along in a special way with Sally; the two have been friends since middle school and are simply inseparable! As for boys, she has only had one boyfriend until now; but for Adam, his football career was more important than Sofia ... She's still waiting to find true love, when she meets Marco Williams! It's love at first sight; she falls hardly and unconditionally for the bad boy with the gentle soul.

MARCO WILLIAMS, 20 years old

Marco is the son of George Williams, owner of Williams Software Corporation. He is studying computer engineering at college and is supposed to take over his dad's company one day. Marco seems to have a brilliant future ahead, but it's not like it seems! After his parents divorced, he was forced to live with his dad and stepmom in San Francisco; he is suffering so much that he got drug addicted at young age! He can't cope with his life, sinking low again and again. Then he meets Sofia, the beautiful girl with the pure soul! Marco has never believed in love, surely not in love at first sight ... With Sofia it's love at first sight; he loves her, deeply and unconditionally!

ANDY BENNETT, 21 years old

Andy is Marco's best friend; the two met at college, where Andy is also studying computer engineering. He lives with his 19-year-old brother Frank in an apartment in San Francisco, after the boys lost their parents in a tragic car accident. Andy is the complete opposite of Marco; despite his terrible loss, he doesn't let it get him down, but is usually in a good mood and uncomplicated! Since he had to learn being responsible for himself and his brother at a young age, he's staying away from anything that could bring him into conflict with the law, including alcohol and drugs. But Andy has a weakness: it is Sofia, of all people, the girlfriend of his best friend ... He's falling for her and barely manages to hide his feelings! Marco is very jealous and it's unevitable that the two friends are getting in a conflict.
