24 Chapter-24

Soon, the golden light faded and Kyle's figure was revealed. He looked completely fine, and his breathing turned normal too.

Lilliana visibly relaxed seeing Kyle but guilt still remained in her eyes.

The Priestess stood up and turned around, looking at Captain Lucas who was staring at her intently.

"Captain Lucas, he is alright now, but let him have a good diet and not overexert himself for some time."

Captain Lucas nodded, while Lilliana again placed Kyle's head on her lap.

"Then, you are free to go now."

The Priest and Priestess nodded and left the training hall but not before shooting Lilliana a look of disgust.

Captain Lucas clicked his tongue, and it was heard by everyone. He turned around and looked at everyone and ordered.

"Today's session is over! You are all dismissed!"

Everyone quickly ran away, no one of them wanted to face Captian Lucas when he is angry.

Ralph shot a look toward Kyle lying on the ground, which was full of hatred but with a new fire of determination boiling in it too.

"Young Miss, let me take the boy to his room, where he could rest more easily." Captain Lucas asked in a kind tone.

He was clearly able to see that Lilliana was way too attached to the boy which he didn't know whether was good or bad.

Lilliana nodded.

Captain Lucas picked Kyle up, but with care as he tried to do it roughly but the young miss behind him shot him a glare.

He took Kyle to his room, while Lilliana followed him and reached his room. There Captain Lucas laid him on the bed while Lilliana sat beside the bed.

Seeing that Kyle's clothes were dirty, Captain Lucas thought for a moment before looking at Lilliana gazing at Kyle worriedly.

"I will go and call someone to change his clothes."

Lilliana nodded and Captain Lucas receiving that nod quickly went out to call someone.

He knew how to change the clothes but the ones Kyle was wearing were not simple, he was wearing his clothing and vest and other stuff too. Butler's clothing was quite complex.

"I am sorry..."

Being alone, her emotions finally flooded, Lilliana started to cry. Even though she was crying before, she was controlling herself way too much.

The things that happened to her made her like this. She would always have emotions flooded if she was alone, but never in front of anyone.

"I shouldn't have asked for that...I am sorry..."

She laid her head on the side of the bed and cried silently there.

Soon, the door of the room opened and Evangeline walked inside, but she was alone. Captain Lucas wasn't with her.

Seeing Lilliana's state, she closed the door behind her silently entered inside.

Lilliana lifted her head, covered in tears but when she saw Evangeline, she quickly started to clean her tears with the sleeve of her dress.

Evangeline shook her head.

'Young Miss is really way too kind...alas, considering what had been happening, it is natural...'

"Young Miss, let's change Kyle's clothes, and you could help him to that way."

Lilliana hearing that quickly nodded her head.

'Yes, I will help him...'

But her expression was still downcasted.

Evangeline walked beside Lilliana and picked her up, making her sit on the bed. She then took off her shoes.

Lilliana silently accepted whatever Evangeline was doing with her, and after done with removing her shoes, Evangeline placed her hand on Lilliana's hands while standing behind her and started to remove Kyle's clothes, which were quite easy to remove considering that they were already quite loose to him.

Done with removing the clothes from his upper body, which was mainly necessary as the pants were quite loose and had no problem.

Evangeline then walked back and took out Kyle's normal clothes from his almirah and then walked back beside the bed and placed the clothes beside Lilliana and gently lifted Kyle's upper body with her right hand.

And using her left hand, she wore Kyle the shirt that she had taken and then laid him on the bed again.

Looking back, she saw Lilliana sleeping there, but she slept with her head hung down.

Sighing at her Young Miss, Evangeline settled Lilliana directly beside Kyle and saw her eyes swollen from crying.

She placed both of her hands on Kyle's and Lilliana's chest and spoke in an unknown language.

"[Mental Relaxation]"

A refreshing green light that seemed even relaxing to just see shot from her hands and covered both Kyle and Lilliana.

"This will help you both relax. Really, kids nowadays are troublesome..."

Soon, the light vanished and Kyle and Lilliana's figure appeared with small smiles on their faces as they slept peacefully.

Evangeline nodded and started to walk out of the room but not before shooting Kyle a thoughtful look.

Meanwhile, Captain Lucas sent Evangeline to Lilliana while he himself went to Duke to report everything that happened.

Reaching in front of Duke's office, Captain Lucas knocked three times.

"Lord Duke, I have something to report."

"Enter."

Duke's voice reverted, granting him the permission to enter. Captain Lucas opened the door and walked in, only to be greeted by the sight of Duke buried in the work.

He stood in front of Duke patiently.

"What happened?"

Duke asked curiously after signing the last document that he was working on.

'Was there some work with the Dungeon Squad?'

He didn't remember there to be something that need him to meet Captain Lucas in his schedule at all. It wasn't like he wasn't happy to meet Captain Lucas or anything but there was a rare chance he would meet Captain Lucas out of the schedule.

"Lord Duke, I want to report about what happened today in the training hall." Captain Lucas said respectfully after seeing Duke's confused look in a serious tone.

Duke nodded. He knew it would be something serious as Captain Lucas had come himself to report him.

"Then....."

Captain Lucas then elaborated everything that happened to the Duke who was listening attentively with a pondering expression.
