Chapter 2. The Fall of Wall Maria

Eren, Armin, and Mikasa were sitting in a small clearing inside the walls, the afternoon sun casting long shadows around them.

They were engrossed in a conversation about the outside world, their imaginations running wild.

"The ocean... Do you think it really exists?" Armin wondered aloud, his eyes filled with curiosity.

"They say it's an endless expanse of water filled with salt, stretching far beyond what we can imagine."

Eren's eyes sparkled with excitement as he leaned forward.

"I really want to see it. Just think about it, Armin. What would it feel like to stand at the edge of the ocean and look out at all that water?"

Mikasa, sitting quietly beside them, nodded in agreement. "It would be amazing to see that place," she said softly, though her eyes were just as bright with anticipation.

After a moment of contemplation, Armin's face lit up with an idea.

"How about we ask Hannes to take us up to the top of the wall? From there, we might be able to see what the outside world looks like."

Eren jumped up, his face alight with excitement.

"Yeah, let's go!" He shouted.

Just as they were about to run off to find Hannes, a sudden flash of yellow-orange lightning split the sky outside the wall, followed by a deafening crack.

The trio froze in place, their eyes widening in disbelief.

A massive hand, larger than any they had ever seen, gripped the top of the wall, the fingers digging into the stone with an ominous creaking sound.

Eren's heart pounded in his chest as he stared up at the colossal figure.

"A titan... bigger than the wall?!" he exclaimed, his voice trembling with shock and fear.

Armin's face went pale, and Mikasa instinctively reached for her scarf.

They stood there, speechless, the enormity of the situation sinking in.

The ground seemed to tremble beneath them as the giant figure loomed over the wall, casting a shadow that swallowed the clearing where they stood.

The air was thick with tension, and the once lively chatter was replaced by an eerie silence.

Eren, Armin, and Mikasa could only watch in horror as the world they thought they knew changed forever in an instant.

Reiner, Bertolt, and Shiniro emerged from the Female Titan's hand, their faces tense with determination.

The warriors had arrived at wall Maria.

And their plan was about to begin.

Annie, now back in her human form, had just exited the titan's body.

She looked exhausted, her breath coming in short gasps.

Shiniro walked towards her, his expression softening as he extended his hand.

"Good job, Annie. Now take a rest," he said gently.

Annie looked up at him, her eyes filled with a mixture of relief and admiration.

She nodded and took his hand, feeling a sense of comfort in his presence.

After helping Annie to a safer spot, Shiniro turned to address the group, his voice steady and authoritative.

"Alright, listen up. Here's the plan. We need to break the wall to see how the founding titan would react, thus giving away its location.

Bertolt, you'll transform into the Colossal Titan and break the outer wall. Reiner, you'll ram through the inner one with your Armored Titan. Is everything clear?"

Bertolt and Reiner nodded, their faces serious.

Annie, still catching her breath, gave a determined nod as well.

Shiniro already knew that the founding titan was inherited by Eren's dad, Grisha.

However, he couldn't just not just go for him since it could cause suspicion.

So he had to go with how the original anime went.

"Right. Let's begin," Shiniro commanded.

As planned, Bertolt transformed into the Colossal Titan, his massive form towering over the landscape.

With a mighty kick of his leg, he smashed through the outer wall, creating an enormous breach.

The ground shook with the impact, and debris flew in all directions.

Once the outer wall was breached, Bertolt reverted to his human form.

Shiniro, now in his Jaw Titan form, crouched down to allow Annie and Bertolt to climb onto his back.

With them securely in place, he began to make his way inside the wall, his powerful jaws and agile movements clearing a path through the rubble.

Meanwhile, Reiner, in his Armored Titan form, charged towards the inner wall.

With a thunderous crash, he rammed through the barrier, creating a second breach.

The sound of crumbling stone echoed through the air as Reiner completed his part of the plan.

Everything was going as planned.

Shiniro, carrying Annie and Bertolt, moved swiftly through the chaos, making their way deeper into the city.

And that, was the beginning of Attack on Titan.

Eren, Armin, and Mikasa stood frozen in shock as the colossal titan, towering over the wall, lifted its massive foot and kicked the gate with a deafening crash.

The gate shattered into countless pieces, sending debris flying in all directions.

The ground trembled beneath their feet, and screams filled the air as people began to run away in a blind panic.

Eren's eyes widened in disbelief, his mind struggling to process the chaos unfolding before him.

"No... no, this can't be happening," he whispered, his voice barely audible over the din of destruction.

Suddenly, a single thought pierced through his shock.

"Mom!!!" he screamed, his voice cracking with desperation.

Without another moment's hesitation, he turned and started running towards his home, his heart pounding in his chest.

"Eren!" Mikasa shouted, her voice laced with fear and urgency.

She took off after him, her legs pumping as she tried to catch up, leaving Armin standing behind, his face a mask of terror and confusion.

Eren and Mikasa ran through the chaotic streets, dodging fleeing villagers and falling debris.

Eren's breath came in ragged gasps, his mind consumed with a single, desperate plea.

Please, let our house and my mom be safe. Please.

Their surroundings blurred as they sprinted, their only focus on reaching their home.

Eren's legs burned with exertion, but he pushed himself harder, driven by an overwhelming fear for his mother's safety.

As they neared their neighborhood, the destruction became even more evident.

Buildings lay in ruins, and the cries of the injured and frightened filled the air.

But Eren's eyes were fixed on a single point in the distance—the place he called home.

They turned the final corner, and Eren's heart dropped.

His house stood battered and broken, a stark reminder of the titan's rampage.

He prayed with every fiber of his being that his mother had somehow escaped the devastation.

"Mom!" he screamed again, his voice raw with anguish as he continued to run towards the wreckage, hoping against hope that he would find her alive and well.
