Paradis Island

Prologue: Paradis Island

The room was dimly lit, the only source of light coming from a flickering bulb hanging from the ceiling.

The air was thick with anticipation, and Shiniro could feel his heart pounding with excitement.

He had woken up in the world of attack on Titan as a eldian kid in Marley for a while now and had went through hell to eventually inherit the Jaw Titan.

In order to stop the rumbling and survive this world, Shiniro thought it would be best to get as close to Eren, the main character of Attack on Titan as possible.

And today, he was about to embark on their most crucial mission yet: infiltrating Paradis Island.

Shiniro glanced around, taking in the familiar faces.

To his left stood Reiner Braun, a guy with blonde hair and a fit body. Despite his usual confident demeanor, he was sweating bullets. His blue eyes darted around the room, betraying his nerves.

Next to him was Bertolt Hoover, a tall kid with black hair. He was visibly shaking, his usually stoic expression replaced with a look of sheer anxiety.

Shiniro couldn't help but chuckle.

"What's the matter, Reiner? Bertolt? You guys scared or something?" Shiniro joked, a playful grin spreading across his face.

Reiner shot them a glare, but it lacked its usual intensity. "Shut up, Shiniro! It's a big mission. We've got a lot riding on this."

Bertolt nodded, his voice barely more than a whisper. "Yeah, it's not every day we infiltrate enemy territory."

Shiniro shrugged, still smiling. "Relax, we've trained for this. Besides, with me and my Jaw Titan, what could go wrong?"

Reiner rolled his eyes but couldn't help the small smile tugging at his lips. "Yeah, yeah. Just remember to watch our backs out there."

Shiniro turned his attention to the third figure in the room, a blonde girl with her hood up.

Despite the hood, Shiniro could see her piercing eyes – cold, calculating, and always on edge.

Annie Leonhart stood slightly apart from the others, her posture guarded as usual.

"Annie, you ready for this?" Shiniro asked, trying to lighten the mood.

Annie pulled her hood down slightly, revealing more of her face. "Always," she replied simply, her voice steady and calm.

Shiniro nodded, feeling more confident with each passing moment.

They had been through a lot to get here, and now it was time to prove their worth.

"Alright, Let's do this," Shiniro said, clapping their hands together. "Next stop, Paradis Island."

As they arrived at the shore of Paradis, Shiniro gazed up at the towering wall in the distance.

This was the place where countless Eldians had been executed, turned into pure Titans and left to wander aimlessly.

Shiniro's thoughts drifted back to when he first got transported into this world.

Back then, he had considered joining the Eldian revolutionaries.

But instead, he chose to become a Marleyan warrior.

In retrospect, it was a wise decision. Otherwise, he might have ended up as one of those pure Titans on that wall. Now, he was one of the Nine Titans, wielding the power of the Jaw Titan.

Looking around, Shiniro noticed Reiner still sweating nervously and Bertolt shaking with anxiety.

Annie stood calmly, her piercing eyes focused. But Shiniro could sense that she was nervous as well.

Just then, the commander stepped out from the ship. He was a stern man, his presence commanding respect. He looked at the team and began to speak.

"This mission is of utmost importance," the commander said, his voice firm. "Our goal is to retrieve the Founding Titan and bring it back to Marley. This is for the glory of Marley and for our future."

He paused, letting the weight of his words sink in before continuing. "The Founding Titan holds the power to shape the fate of our world. With it, we can ensure Marley's dominance and secure a brighter future for our people. This mission is not just about victory; it's about survival and prosperity. Each of you has been chosen for your unique abilities and strengths. Together, you are the spearhead of Marley's might."

Shiniro nodded, fully aware of the mission's significance. Securing the Founding Titan would change everything for both Marley and the Eldians.

"Is everyone ready?" the commander asked.

"Yes, sir," Shiniro replied confidently.

Reiner and Bertolt also responded, "Ready."

Annie gave a silent nod, her eyes filled with determination.

"Good," the commander continued. "Remember, failure is not an option. Our enemies are formidable, but so are we. Trust in your training, trust in each other, and trust in the mission. The fate of Marley rests on your shoulders. Let's show the world the strength of our resolve."

As Shiniro, Annie, Renier and Bertolt traversed the plains of Paradis, they took turns transforming into Titans and riding on each other's titans as a way of moving faster.

However, Bertolt was an exception since his Colossal Titan wasn't really fit for transportation.

Shiniro led them, taking out the map and explaining what needed to be done.

"If we move in this direction from here, we can reach our target faster," Shiniro said, pointing at the map. "We'll need to take a few breaks along the way, especially at night."

Reiner looked at Shiniro.

Shiniro was a guy that joked around most of the time, but when it came to missions, he was cold and serious. Almost scary.

Shiniro was the top-ranked in the warrior group and had always outperformed everyone except in combat, where Annie was too good.

"Got it." Reiner nodded.

They resumed their way, following Shiniro's instructions efficiently as they moved toward their target.

After traveling for a while, night fell, and Shiniro spoke up.

"Let's stop here for the night. It's getting dark, so let's make a fire and rest."

The team followed Shiniro's lead, setting up camp and lighting a fire.

The flames flickered, casting shadows on their faces. Shiniro sat by the fire, keeping watch and deep in thought.

He knew the importance of this mission and couldn't easily relax.

Reiner observed Shiniro, noting the stark contrast between his usual jovial demeanor and his intense focus during missions. It was almost intimidating.

"We'll head out early tomorrow morning," Shiniro said.

Annie and Bertolt nodded quietly, and each of them began to unwind in their own way, preparing for a brief but valuable rest.

Thus, they spent the night, readying themselves for the next day's journey with a short yet essential break.
