It's good to be back

He was intensively thinking about what he could do to give the people of this world a life, but then the systems voice suddenly interrupted him : „welcome back to world 1 these are the Missions :

- eradicate the devilhuman race

- train scorpion avoiding step to the advanced level

- make the goblins one of the strongest races of the world

William looked shocked at these missions, it would be extremely difficult to fulfill the first one, but what about the third one. It simply just sounded impossible, how would he make an entire race stronger? But he had no choice, if he didn't fulfill the missions then he would be stuck in here forever.

At this moment he heard his disciples run towards him, Yuki, senua and dredgen all wanted something apparently. They ran excited towards him and shouted „master it's time for training" and it really was time for training, he completely had forgotten that it was about to be Trainings time when he left the last time.

Seeing his disciples run excited towards him could give him only one thought: „it's good to be back". This was the the only thought that William could have and he thought maybe it wasn't so bad to be stuck here for a while. Atleast he could spend this time with his disciples, and no matter how much time passed in this world, he would end up in his world at the same time.

He decided to teach his disciples and the village the metal body refining technique and he did that for 2 reasons. It would strengthen the village extremely but it would also expand their lifespan. Most people originally thought that only chi cultivation could expand the lifespan, but that wasn't true. Body cultivation could expand your lifespan too, and that was simply because body cultivation also strengthened your cells.

You age because your body starts decaying at one point, it can't keep up anymore with what it's supposed to do. But that was different for a body cultivator, their body was strong enough that it started to work in a different way. Like take William for example every single oneof his cells is part metal, making his cells extremely tough.

The goal of the metal body refining technique was to refine your body to be the perfect metal, and with that William's life span would also increase, simply because he was basically a metal now. A living metal and the more metal was mixed into his body cultivation the longer he would be able to live. The current him wouldn't age in the next 100 years, yes he would age way slower then he did before.

He wasn't even sure if he would age at all his body might stay that of a 14 year old forever. That had benefits but also pissed William off, it felt like the longer he cultivated the more he was destined to be forever alone. He would be forever 14 and had a body that poisoned others if they touched him, it really depressed him when he thought about this. He wanted to be strong, but he also craves contact with other humans. He craved for love and for interactions with others, but he knew that the stronger he got the harder it would be for him to find a partner.

Having these thoughts made him feel extremely lonely, like he would go further away from being human the stronger he got. He never thought about those things before he was just excited to get stronger but he just realized could he really call himself a human?

But at this moment Yuki brought William out of his thoughts „what are you doing, we want to train. Don't just stand there and train with us instead" this made William smile. Maybe he wasn't human anymore but he atleast managed to build up a great goblin family.

He shouted „I'm coming" and started running towards them. He swore himself at this day to never forget the importance of family. His body might not be that of a human, but it didn't matter as long he stayed inside his mind.
