40 Demon

William still couldn't think clearly, he was completely over taken by hatred and only killing could satisfy that hatred. He ignored all the wounds on his body and kept attacking. Even if he wanted to, he wasn't able to stop anymore. He has lost complete control over himself and his body.

Meanwhile, the devil human was able to give him one wound after another with the special sword. It was a menacing sight to see, and even the devil humans were scared, because they couldn't explain how the person in front of them was still standing and fighting. His heart was pierced and on his entire body were deep cuts by now, but it didn't even bother him he just kept on fighting.

But the devil humans didn't give up, they were sure that they would be able to kill this guy if they just kept going. Just like this William got more and more wounded, receiving one cut after another. He just kept fighting and got angrier and angrier.

Then the system message popped up: requirements achieved, demonification activated. Congrats host on successfully becoming a demon.

But William couldn't hear this message and feel how something inside him changed. His eyes became blood red and his teeth started to turn into fangs. His entire aura changed, his aura that before resembled that of a human was now that of a wild beast.

The devil humans were standing in fear. They didn't know what happened, but the aura of William had just gained an incredible boost. Some even ran away but most stayed in hope that they could still kill this calamity. They knew that it would be terrifying if this beast was allowed to go anywhere near the devil humans base. They were extremely scared but they just couldn't let a beast like that run wild.

They kept attacking William, trying to kill him before his transformation ended. And it wasn't a dumb plan. They kept attacking Williams neck with the sword, they wanted to cut his neck off before he could fully transform. They had only this one chance and they had to be successful.

And soon Williams neck was cut through halfway. He started feeling weaker and weaker and he slowly blacked out. The devil humans had won and William had died without even knowing what had happened. He had lost all reasoning at this point, having only one thought and that was to kill.

Somewhere far, far away

William woke up and gave away a loud roar. He was angry about the thought that those filthy things managed to kill him. His blood red eyes checked his surroundings and all animals would immediately be struck with fear when they looked at him. His eyes carried an extremely deep killing intent, and even after death, was he still blinded by hatred.

He immediately ran towards the devil humans base again, he had to kill them all and nothing has the right to stop him from it. He ran and ran, the closer he got the more excited he got. He wanted to kill them all and no one would stop him, or better everyone trying to stop him would die.

Meanwhile in the devil's palace

The devil looked at Williams situation and smiled, his plan had worked. He had successfully turned William into a demon, now he had to only ensure that William is going to become a proper demon. And it was an easy thing to do.

He had made the devil humans attack the goblins, and he would equally target everyone else that got close to William. Eventually William would become an empty shell only controlled by the system. It would be at this time that the first step of the plan had succeeded.

But before that the devil had to see if William would be able to even regain control from this. Because if not then he would soon be able to finish the first plan.
