21 Chapter 21

The fight was over and both of them were exhausted. Kakashi aside , Aoki was suffering from mental fatigue because he had used too much spiritual energy at one go during the fight.

The mind's eye was a great skill but it also used up much spiritual energy. During the fight, Aoki had used the skill to it's full capacity and needed to focus too much to see the fast movements. This could have been avoided if Aoki possessed insane dynamic vision like Kakashi's sharingan. Then he could see the opponent's movements in slow motion and then easily intercept them. Aoki tried to do same thing by pushing his mind's eye skill to its limits. So naturaly the burden on his mind would be greater too.

All in all it was not an easy fight for Aoki either. Kakashi was really a formidable ninja. Kakashi could have tried to prolong the fight by mixing many jutsu which he knew. After all he was called the copy ninja and had copied more than thousand jutsu.

But he did not do that because of one good reason. It was because he deduced that Aoki's wind blades and unexpected fast reaction speed could cope up with them with little difficulty. That decision was made after Kakashi saw Aoki slicing his great Fireball jutsu into two effortlessly and next when Kakashi was forced to use his sharingan.

At this point during the fight , Kakashi knew that he could only compete properly with his killer technique Chidori. But Aoki once again exceeded his expectations greatly and showed that he could keep up with that speed too.

Kakashi thought and was convinced that he was outclassed this time. Aoki also similar thoughts as Kakashi but also thought that Kakashi would become way stronger if he did not have the problem of his low chakra capacity due to a chunk being consumed by his sharingan all the time.

" That sharingan of yours , cant something be done about it? " Suddenly the silence was broken as Aoki asked a question which was lingering in his mind.

" Its not like I have not tried anything. Even Sandaime was not able to come up with the right answer. " Kakashi replied with a tired voice as his stamina was greatly exhausted.

Aoki nodded and did not say anything else. He knew that Kakashi this problem should be solved in future like in the anime because Kalashi was definitely a Kage level individual during the fourth war arc.

Aoki now knew about the root of Kakashi's problem after scanning him during the battle with his mind's eye skill. His sharingan gave off a pinkish chakra which was different from his original. So Aoki's guess was that the imbalance of both chakra was the main cause. It should be correct but Aoki right now had no solution to the problem either.

One solution he could think of would be sealing the sharingan using some kind of advanced fuinjutsu but Kakashi would have definitely considered that himself and the problem was still there. So there was no point in telling Kakashi about it.

Night came and currently Aoki was laying down on the futon in his room with his eyes closed. During the fight he had closed the notifications from system to prevent possible distractions so he missed that a quest had been issued during the fight. And he had unknowingly completed it too.

QUEST : DEFEAT KAKASHI AND PROVE THAT YOU ARE AN ELITE OF KONOHA TOO.

REWARD : UNLOCK NEW FUNCTION. ( SKILL PROFICIENCY UPGRADE FUNCTION )

Now that the quest was complete , Aoki could see that a new function had appeared in the system interface. He did not hesitate and mentally clicked on it.

Aoki looked through the list and was greatly pleased. Even skills like cooking were mentioned there. If he used this function then mastering skills would be piece of cake.

His happiness did not last long though because at the end of the list one important thing was mentioned. It was written that the skill points could only exchanged for shop points and the ratio of exchange was just too much. 100 Shop points were required to exchange for just one skill point. As expected the system would not make things too easy for him either.

The missions he took from the village were considered as quests by system. And with this recent quest , it could be confirmed that there may be more quests available but there must be some kind of conditions to activate them of which Aoki currently had no idea. So for now he could only focus on completing as many missions as he could because he already needed too many shop points to buy good stuff from the system and now the allure of skill points was added to that.

' I should take more difficult missions from tomorrow' Aoki thought and closed his eyes once again for sleeping.
