35 Chapter 35

"Sakura!"

Mebuki's voice sounded from the front of the cabin, pulling me out from the sudden emotional storm. Taking in a deep breath, I removed the kunais and began walking a distance away from the twins. They stood rooted to their spot not daring to look me in the eye.

"I am sorry. I may have overreacted a bit." I heard a throat clear from behind me which made my eye twitch a bit.

"Fine. I overreacted a lot. I apologize. You have amazing abilities but your choice at the end was wrong. If I were an enemy, as you saw, you would have already been dead. Unless you are more than sure of your opponent's ability compared to yours, why take the risk of getting that close; especially if you do not know if they have a way out like I did."

Granted, they probably had to come up with most of their abilities on their own, which would make them truly more amazing and my anger and/or frustration even more misplaced, but still.

They both took in a deep breath and bowed deeply. "Thank you very much!"

"Calm down. It's not that serious." After things calmed down, Kouki looked at me with almost sparkling eyes.

'So that is what it was.' Finally understanding I nodded to myself.

"Sakura-san, you really are amazing. Master told us you are only beginning training just like us but you completely outclassed us." Aoi spoke clearly, all traces of earlier frustration all gone. Kouki who was standing beside his sister kept nodding with even more sparkles and twinkles in his eyes; I did not even know such a thing was possible.

'Outclassed? You would be too if you had a monster training you the way she did me, and then later hunting you down, pushing you every day just barely past your limits; Not at your limits, not below, slightly past my limits. You have no idea how many times I had wanted to jam the kunai into my hearts and end things.'

Thinking about the last three months made smile wryly as I shook my head to get those memories out of my head. Uzumaki Ken most likely trained both of them mainly on the way of the sword. If it came down to a battle of swords, I would definitely lose, hands down. Once again, I knew my anger and frustration at them was misplaced. They charged at me at the final attack probably because they were much more confident in finishing me off with the sword.

I knew very well, if it were someone else, they would most probably have died on their very first attack. I had my Chakra Carpet out, so that helped in determining where they were.

"I knew you created such a monster but I did not know to such an extent." Uzumaki Ken spoke loud enough for just the two of them to hear.

"Why thank you." Mebuki responded with a wide smile. The Uzumaki rolled his eyes in a 'not a compliment' manner, to which she shrugged.

"She needs to be at least this level. With what happened, most of the villages would send men after her. At least this way I rather feel sorry for those that come after her instead." Thinking about her daughter's last mission, she could not help but smile.

Ken looked back and forth at the mother-daughter pair and whispered to himself, "Honestly, such brutes."

"You did a fine job with them as well. I knew you were the right person to come to." She smiled.

"Alright, that is enough. Come inside all of you. You need to make preparations to leave." Uzumaki Ken called out to us, thankfully. Their twinkling eyes were beginning to unnerve me.

"Oh my, kicking us out already?" Mebuki said with a hurt expression but was completely ignored.

We went inside for the siblings to pack up while I had a chat with the Uzumaki, and I had to admit, he truly was a monster. Here I thought I had cleared the basics, almost reaching an intermediary level in seals, and yet, chatting with him, I felt I was yet to even break through to the intermediate level. I was glad we returned here.

We had a long chat. So many things I did not understand in the past became clearer. I had a few theories which he found intriguing. Then there were ideas I was struggling with, which I run by him, and his input helped me immensely. Especially my idea concerning wills; Erasure of wills, to be exact.

"It is nothing new, really, only slightly rare." The Uzumaki took a mouthful from his gourd before continuing, "I saw it done during the times of the second war and rarely in the third war. A captured enemy would have his will erased and given a new one. They were sent back to camp before either being unleashed in an unsuspecting slaughter or used as a spy."

His words put me in a bit of thought before I looked at him and asked again, "What about something on the level of the nine-tailed-beast, no, ten-tailed-beast?" He spat out what was in his mouth, surprised I would even ask that.

"You want to erase the will of the Kyuubi? And there is no such thing as a…juubi?" He looked at me somewhat annoyed that I made him waste such a precious drink.

"I know there isn't, all I am asking, theoretically, how would you go about sealing something that is maybe, ten to fifty times more powerful than a kyuubi?"

"Which is it?" He asked taking another sip from his gourd.

Seeing my confusion, he asked again, "Well, which is it, ten or fifty times more powerful?" His question confused me even more. Did it even matter?

Regardless, I decided to answer, "Let us assume, one hundred, to be safe. Theoretically of course."

"Of course." He looked at me for a while before going silent once again. I could practically hear the wheels and cogs in his head busily turning. He would occasionally frown and shake his head, mumble a bit, show a crazed smile, then laugh out loud. I sat by the side, waiting for him to finish his musings; if that was what they were.

"Size, chakra, restraint, will power of the beast, your will power, power and augmentation, seals. Quite a few variables to tackle." He finally snapped out of his thoughts before finally speaking. "But theoretically, if we can satisfy the conditions, it can be done." I could see in his eyes he had a plan.

He nodded, and thus we began our extensive back and forth on analysis and seal makings. Of course, my plan was not to erase the will of the ten tails. No, my plan was for Black Zetsu. You might think I was overestimating him by putting him on the same level as the Juubi but I feel I might be underestimating him.

That manipulative bastard was the will of Kaguya Otsutsuki, born right before she was sealed. He had been around literally since the beginning of the Shinobi era. I was not going to take any risks in taking him down. Risky as they may be, I had my plans for that manipulative bastard; I just hoped I was not biting off more than I could chew.
