Chapter 52 Love Confession (Bonus Chapter)

"Hick... Sniff... I-I am sorry... If only I-I could have been of a little help..."

Kaiya blamed herself nonstop. Then Kaiya felt like she heard something, and as she approached Jin Wei to listen closely, she heard him say, "B-bluhd!!!"

Kaiya couldn't understand what Jin Wei had just said. So she moved even closer to the point where she could feel his weak breath. As she listened carefully, she heard Jin Wei this time, "Blood!!!"

Upon hearing him say 'blood,' Kaiya felt a bit confused. What does he mean by blood? What would he do with it? This question bothered her, but she knew Jin Wei wasn't in a position to answer.

So she quickly took out her knife and decisively cut her hand, causing blood to come out of her small, delicate hand.

But as she looked at the situation in front of her, Kaiya knew that her dream would remain just a dream.

"Jin Wei... I know that you c-can't hear me, and I-I... know that I-I... a-am not worthy," Kaiya said, stopping before completing her sentence. Once again, she sat beside Jin Wei, tears streaming down her face, and said slowly, "B-but.. still I must... express my feelings before I die... I-I love you!!! And I always will..." Kaiya finished her words and after gathering her last bit of courage she kissed the sleeping Jin Wei on his lips for 6 whole seconds. With that, she quickly got up, picked up Jin Wei's sword, and rushed toward the goblin, without caring for her own life.

"Haiyaaaaaa" Kaiya shouted and swung her sword toward the incoming small goblin at full speed. Since both the goblins and Kaiya were nothing but mortals with no cultivation base, their strengths were quite similar, and since the goblin was shorter than her, he couldn't dodge her swing. His body, which was boosted with 2% attack speed, got sliced in half.

But before she could celebrate her first kill, another goblin from the back struck his short sword at Kaiya's back, which she could see with her ability but her body wasn't able to react in time properly, and it got stabbed in the back.

Although it didn't hit her vital spot, because the goblin didn't want to kill her, blood was coming out of her back at a fast speed.

But Kaiya didn't surrender, she just swung her sword toward the goblin, completely cutting its head off.

Then another goblin stabbed Kaiya from another side. This time she felt like giving up. But remembering Jin Wei who was still defenseless, she couldn't give up. So with a 360-degree swing, she killed another 3 goblins in one go.

But then as she looked back she noticed about five goblins looking at her in an aroused state.

Although she couldn't tell what they were trying to do, she knew that it would not be anything good.

Then one of the goblins quickly grabbed her uniform and ripped a part of it apart. Realizing what just happened and what was going to happen to her, Kaiya was now completely horrified.

"Nooooooooooooooooooo... Don't touch me....." Kaiya shouted at the top of her lungs as tears began to fall from her eyes like a river. She would never let anyone touch her body except her love Jin Wei.

She would rather die than let someone else dirty her body. With this, Kaiya quickly took out her small knife which she previously had. And tried to swing it around trying to scare the goblins. But that seems to be not working.

Realizing there was no other way, she pressed the knife against her throat and shouted in a trembling voice, "D-don't come near me... Or... Or... I-I will kill myself..."

Seeing this, the goblins stopped for a second but then with large evil grinning nods, all 5 of them this time holding a part of Kaiya's uniform and ripped it apart.

Realizing that her whole clothes had been ripped apart, Kaiya tightly grabbed onto her knife and said in a whispering tone. "I-I am sorry."

"Bammmm!!!"

Just as Kaiya was about to slice her throat, a loud noise interrupted her. Activating her ability one last time to investigate, she found the same familiar and dangerous blood-red aura among the group of five goblins who had tried to assault her.

He slaughtered them mercilessly, one by one, so swiftly that none could defend against his onslaught.

Witnessing this, Kaiya cried tears of joy. Her savior was here once again, saving her when she needed him the most.

She felt truly grateful and wondered how she could ever repay him in this life. With this thought, Kaiya finally lost consciousness and fell to the ground.

Just a few seconds ago, Jin Wei got up and heard Kaiya shout. Realizing she was in danger, he quickly dashed towards Kaiya only to find Kaiya's dress being torn apart by a group of 5 goblins, while 5 more goblins were killed.

"It seems she saved me from dying by giving me blood, as I clearly remember that I was defeated and was at death's door, so without blood, there is no way for me to recover, and when these goblins tried to attack us... instead of running away like she should... She again chose to save me, but why?" Jin Wei thought confused for a moment but decided not to think for long and think about what was in front of him first.

With his recovered strength, he punched one of the goblins that were about to take off his skirt, and as soon as the punch landed, the head blasted apart.

Jin Wei was shocked to find out his new strength. Was he not being limited by the gravity ring anymore? He thought for a moment but then noticed that the ring was still active. It seems after his transformation his mind and body had finally reached equality.

However, he didn't let that distract him for long; he began to massacre the remaining goblins one by one, without giving them a chance to recover.

After he crushed the last goblin's head, Jin Wei looked at Kaiya's naked figure who was now unconscious due to the heavy blood loss from the two short swords struck on her back.

Seeing this, Jin Wei quickly carried her in a princess carry position and ran away from the location. After such a long battle, now an even stronger monster might come and attack them. So he chose to retreat first and treat her injury after finding a safe location.
