4 Chapter 4 A Bad Boy

Once the ten students had heard their names being called, each of them started to walk to the front where Cooper was standing.

Including Liam and Jimmy, there were a total of six males and four females. Out of these 10 students, Liam, Jimmy, Joey, Sakura, and Victoria are the main leads. The others are just extras like Jin Wei.

In that group, everyone looked quite confident except for Joey. Although Liam was currently weak, he knew what his real strength was, so he wouldn't mind even if his results were too bad.

Joey looked more nervous than anyone there. He would constantly look around him and couldn't stop fidgeting.

He had a small body frame that suited his not-so-tall stature. He was wearing nerdy-looking glasses and had short brown hair.

Then there were the two girls who were one of the main leads, named Sakura and Victoria.

Sakura had short pink hair and was 167cm tall. She had a beautiful round-shaped face, light brown skin, hazel-green eyes, and a flat chest.

Jin Wei knew very well who she was. If the story progresses like the novel, then she will become Liam's wife in the future.

Sakura is the most confused character in the whole novel; she has no control over her emotions—sometimes she likes one guy, other times she likes someone else.

But, she says that deep down, she liked Liam so later they got married. In the whole story, she is considered the most useless character, and as a reader, Jin Wei hates her to his core.

Finally, there was Victoria. Victoria was the type of girl who turned all the boys' heads. Her proportions were perfect, not too big, not too small; she was 182cm tall, had a perfect oval face, smooth milky white skin, beautiful long flame-like red hair, and silver eyes.

The only problem was her facial expressions. Even when walking through the crowds of people, not once did her expression change. It stayed stiff and neutral.

Jin Wei was naturally familiar with her character; in the novel, she played the role of the villainess.

Although at first, she helped Liam in his development and his journey, later she realized just how hypocritical Liam was, so she went her own way.

Later, when Liam tries to destroy the Vampire race, she fights against him, but how can anyone defeat the protagonist? So, in the end, she lost and died.

She was one of Jin Wei's favorite characters, and he felt emotionally attached to her. And even felt extremely sad when she died. But now that Jin Wei has the chance, he wants to save her if possible.

The group had stopped just behind another group who were being transported to the testing area.

As soon as Jimmy saw the others in the same group, he greeted each one of them with a handshake. Jimmy was being very polite, so most of them accepted his greetings, apart from Victoria.

Victoria merely stared at Jimmy's hand when he offered it out to her, then she turned her head and looked away.

"Come on, you don't have to be like that?" Jimmy said as he tried to place his hand on Victoria's shoulder.

"Bam!"

But before Jimmy could do so, he felt a strong punch on his face, and he flew 5 meters from his place and clashed with another student. Both of them fell to the ground. Jimmy had bruises on his face and blood was flowing out of his nose.

The one who attacked him was none other than Jin Wei, who, after attacking, just stood there with a cold look on his face.

Everyone stopped to look at the commotion happening near the front. Even Victoria, whose face always remained stiff and neutral, was shocked. But she quickly shook her head regained her composure and returned to her neutral expression.

"Hey... hey, are they going to fight?"

"Who is that guy? He just punched him without any reason."

"He is handsome, isn't he? A bad boy, totally my type!"

After getting that punch, Jimmy's head started to spin for some time, and as he regained his composure, he got up and looked at Jin Wei full of hatred.

"Why the heck did you punch me for, f*cker?" Jimmy asked angrily, blood still running down his nose.

Jin Wei just looked at him with a cold expression and replied, "Just now, you were trying to molest that girl, so I just put you in your place."

"Y-you... Y-you..."

Jimmy was about to curse once again, but Sergeant Cooper noticed the commotion and started to intervene.

"Stop it, you two. If you have that much energy, then save it for the test."

Hearing Sergeant Cooper's words, Jimmy decided to stop and gritted his teeth in anger.

Jin Wei just ignored them and went to a corner, standing there alone.

Both Liam and Sakura quickly got beside Jimmy.

Sakura then touched Jimmy's face without even getting his permission, and her hand began to glow green lights.

And Jimmy's face began to heal at a visible rate.

Seeing this, Jimmy's mood changed a bit, and looked at Sakura in amusement.

"Wow, your ability is something; you healed me in just a second. Thank you very much." Jimmy said and shook her hand in appreciation.

Sakura blushed a bit and said in a low voice, "Ummm... You are welcome."

"Are you alright?" Liam asked a bit concerned, but inside he was trying his best to control himself.

Seeing Jimmy's bloody nose, his instinct was crying to dry him alive, but his self-control was higher than his instinct, so he was able to control himself.

This was all because he was still a newborn Halfling; if he was a genuine Vampire like Jin Wei, then he wouldn't have felt such a strong urge.

"Can you believe him!" Jimmy complained, "I nearly lost consciousness just now."

"That's true; he was unreasonable. But he is also right; you shouldn't go around touching others without their permission," Liam replied and looked in the opposite direction since he didn't want to see the blood anymore.

"Humph, I was just trying to be friendly with her. And he is lucky I didn't wipe the floor with him," Jimmy replied and cleaned the blood from his nose.

Liam finally felt relieved as the blood was no longer in his sight. But he still felt a bit disappointed inside as he saw the blood went to waste.

Everyone near them just thought about Jimmy, Jin Wei, and Victoria. None of them even put a glance at the guy that Jimmy clashed with.

He was unconscious, lying on the ground. This was the fate of the weak; no one cared about them and their life. One is destined to suffer and die if they are not strong enough. So they can't blame others for their weakness.
