I Became an Extra, and to Survive, I Must Kill the MC.

Jin Wei, a Mafia leader, dies during a gang war. However, right after his death, he opens his eyes and finds himself inside the body of a young vampire who came to Earth for exploration. As he accrues the memories of his previous owner, he realizes that he is in a novel world he used to read in his free time before his death. In this world, the MC considers anyone besides humans as evil. In the future, the MC will destroy the entire vampire race. Since Jin Wei was a vampire, he needs to do everything in his power to kill the MC, or he is screwed for sure. --- (Author's Note: Jin Wei is not a hero who will go around saving the world for justice. He is a villain that might destroy the whole world if he thinks it's necessary. Jin Wei will have a big harem as the story progresses. If you're not a fan of this type of MC and story, it might not be the right fit for you. Keep in mind that this is a work of pure fantasy, so our usual common sense might not apply to this novel.)

Chapter 35 It's all necessary for the greater good

Victoria is now inside her room, getting ready for class, and for some reason, she can't sleep, regardless of what happened last night. She felt as if something important was missing.

As a Dhampir, she doesn't need to sleep. As long as she consumes blood and her mind isn't too exhausted, sleep is irrelevant to her. But she had slept well for the previous two days, so why is she having problems sleeping now? Victoria was clueless.

"Maybe I need to drink some blood or something," Victoria concluded and finished wearing her uniform.

But then she remembered Jin Wei. Jin Wei hasn't come home since they left for class. Although she met him in the gym once, after training for a few hours, she left.

Although Jin Wei said that he wouldn't return for the night, she thought he was just joking. But after staying alone for the whole night, she realized that he was far from joking.

Although she wanted to go visit him and convince him to come back, as it was late at night, she couldn't because Jin Wei ordered her not to look for him.

"Humph!!! Not like I am concerned for him." Victoria pouted, but still, she couldn't hide the concern she had for him.

"Ding... Dong!!!"

Suddenly, the room calling bell rang, making Victoria come back to her senses. Victoria thought that Jin Wei had come. So she hurriedly went to the door, expecting Jin Wei, but instead found Lily and Rex.

Now, Victoria realized that if Jin Wei had come, he wouldn't have bothered to use the bell, as he can enter anytime he wants with his wristwatch. This made Victoria a bit disappointed, but she quickly hid, not letting Lily and Rex notice.

"Where is Jin Wei; I don't see him?" Rex asked curiously, as he didn't know that Jin Wei didn't come home last night.

Victoria just shook her head, indicating she had no clue as well. Lily then grabbed Victoria's hand, and they began to walk away from their residence.

As Victoria left the residence, she heard a familiar voice in her head, (Meet me behind the convenience store.)

As soon as Victoria heard the voice, she realized that it was none other than Jin Wei, so she quickly stopped. Lily asked what happened using a hand sign.

Victoria just shook her head and replied, "Nothing; you two go, I will follow you soon."

Both Lily and Rex just nodded their heads and began to walk away, leaving Victoria alone. After Lily and Rex were out of sight, Victoria cautiously walked towards the convenience store.

Behind the convenience store, there was only trees everywhere, like some thick forest, but Jin Wei was nowhere to be seen.

"Did he prank on me?" Victoria thought, as her face began to turn red.

"Ohh, why do you think I would prank on you?" Suddenly, a voice came from behind Victoria, and as she looked back, she realized that it was none other than Jin Wei.

But before she could say anything, Jin Wei dashed towards her, and for some reason, his speed was very slow compared to before, and if Victoria wanted, she could dodge it. But for some reason, she didn't.

Jin Wei then tightly hugged her, and this time Victoria didn't reject the hug like before, as for some reason, she felt comfort in that hug, and she instinctively hugged him back.

Jin Wei then gently began to stroke her hair, and Victoria began to rub her face on his chest. It looked like they were some long-lost couple that met after a long time.

After a few seconds of silence and comfort, Victoria gets out of Jin Wei's embrace. "So where have you been last night?" Victoria asked like a mature wife waiting for her husband for a whole night.

"Did you miss me?" Jin Wei asked back in a teasing tone. While Victoria just pouted, making her face red in embarrassment.

"Hmph! Why would I?" Victoria said with a pout. Jin Wei couldn't help but chuckle as after training for the whole night, his mind was a bit dizzy even now. But seeing Victoria's reaction, his head cleared once again.

"Haha, all right, I won't tease you anymore. I was here to inform you that I will be going somewhere for a few days, so I won't be able to attend any of the classes for a while." Jin Wei said casually. Victoria was shocked.

"W-what? Where are you going?" Victoria asked confused because the military academy isn't a place where one can enter and exit as they please.

"Inside a dungeon!!!" Jin Wei replied casually not caring about making it a secret, as after he entered the dungeon, everyone would know anyway.

"W-what??? Are you mad? Don't you know it's extremely dangerous for first-year students to enter a dungeon without a teacher accompanying them?" Victoria shouted in frustration.

"Ohh, what a cute wife I have; you care about me that much?" Jin Wei asked in a teasing tone. But this time Victoria didn't get embarrassed as she was determined to know the reason.

Seeing his trick didn't work, Jin Wei just sighed and reassured, "Don't worry about it; I am strong, you know."

"As for the dungeon, I need to take something important from there, so I can't bring any teacher with me." Jin Wei added.

"Then let me come with you," Victoria said with determination unbreakable.

Seeing her determination, Jin Wei just sighed as he shook his head and replied, "No can do; that dungeon is really dangerous for you. You should stay here and train hard."

"B-but... I can hel..." Victoria wanted to complain, but Jin Wei interrupted, "You would be just a burden, so don't bother."

Jin Wei's look is now as cold as ice. If one compares his previous attitude with his current one, one would instantly believe that he's a completely different person. But Victoria knew that it was not the case as Jin Wei had already shown her this side of him on the first day they met.

Still, Victoria was a bit shocked as Jin Wei didn't usually talk with her like this, and when Jin Wei said that she was just a burden, this hurt her heart.

But she couldn't refuse him, as currently with her strength, she would only be a burden if she went with him. Victoria now could only grit her teeth in frustration.

Seeing this, Jin Wei just sighed. He realized that he had been a bit harsh, but he also knew that it was necessary.

Although she was motivated to grow stronger to avenge her father in the past, now after knowing that her father is still alive, and Jin Wei is going to save her father, her motivation to grow stronger has decreased.

So if Jin Wei doesn't become strict, she will never grow stronger and reach her full potential. It's all necessary for the greater good.
