Knowing this, Valerius's breathing pattern changed as he executed the Energy Absorption Technique. An attractive force formed in the pit of his stomach. It acted on the puppet as he was in direct physical contact with it. The energy inside the puppet was quickly sucked out and transferred to him.

As the puppet neared shutdown, it ceased its attempts to free its hand and instead attacked Valerius with its free hand, throwing dozens of jabs at his face in a couple of seconds. Valerius, however, dodged each of its desperate attacks by tilting his head to the left and right whilst maintaining his grip on its wrist and rhythmically breathing, executing the Energy Absorption Technique to drain it of its energy.
