2 The Aclon Federation

Ji Shen couldn't help chuckling when thinking of the readiness of humans.

As expected. No matter whether it was back on earth or here, humans were the same.

The moment the catastrophe happened, many threw the rules out of the way.

The world became a brutal place.

It was truly a miracle that the Federation had managed to once again force down the rules on people, making them civilized again.

The federation used the first 150 years to hammer things down before making all regions succumb.

And over the remaining 100 years, they still tried their best to maintain things.

But crime was way higher than it was before the catastrophe.

Nonetheless, the society had somewhat reverted into a somewhat civilized one.

But Li Shen couldn't say that the situation was the same for all cases worldwide.

At present, he was within the Continent of Aclon, or rather, the Aclon Federation.

And instead of having countries within the continent, each region was given a Zone name instead.

So if it were back on earth, China would have a Zone name, Japan would have a zone name and so on.

That said, the Aclon Federation had 49 different Zones, and he lived in Zone 30, District 98

And what was the Aclon Federation fighting for?

To keep other Federations/ Continents from including and colonizing them.

Over the past 250 years, as society developed, crazy wars broke out throughout the world.

And the Federation that gave many headaches was the Ugorian Federation.

Somehow, these people managed to colonize the entire container of Eplen, gaining tremendous power.

So now, the massive continent of Eplen was no more.

Now, it was just part of the Ugorian Federation.

The continent of Ugoria had completely engulfed Eplen.

That said, the remaining continents; Aclon, Terian, Netoria and Sakuvi, all grew fearful of Ugoria.

And over the years, they had caught countless Ugorian spies and soldiers who had been trying to steal information here and there.

But what shocked many was that the Netorian Federation, suddenly issued a message saying that they were allies of all federations, including Ugoria.

Following that, they also issued various statements, saying that Ugoria wanted world peace.

And so, many people signed an agreement allowing travel between all continents and peace.

It was a surprising move coming from Ugoria, but everyone followed along and agreed to it since it was also beneficial for them.

All these changes happened within the past 250 years, with every year being different.

At the start, it was all about war... But as time progressed, the Federations realized that they couldn't keep locking themselves up.

New technologies and ideas sprung out from different parts of the world, so if they didn't have wild peace, these ideas might be hard to get from the various federations.

And so, the world became a place where people could now freely travel, use the internet and do many things like they would in 2015.

But that doesn't mean it was peaceful.

No.... The Ugorian spies were constantly trying to steal information from the other Federations.

They were still up to their same tricks.

And every time they got caught, they would deny it and say it was a setup.

These people were still hellbent on ruling the entire world.

That's why even though it still looked peaceful, it was way more dangerous than the situation back on earth.

But why was everyone so afraid to be colonized by Ugoria?

Because of the way they treat the people of Eplen.

The citizens of Eplen were now called 'Bondservants,' which was another name for slaves.

They weren't allowed to study particular things in order to keep them stupid. And, they weren't also allowed to live in luxury.

Even if they wanted to go out to visit other Federations on holidays, they had to go out in groups and would be escorted by people from the Ugorian Federation.

They were taken as lower-class people, who were joked about, bullied, trampled and looked down on by the many Ugorians who had settled in their Continent over the years.

It was terrible. And no one wanted to be the next victim of Ugoria.

Funny enough, Ji Shen's father was a Special soldier who attempted to have something to do with those people from Eplen.

Even though no one told him, Ji Shen could still remember his father briefly talking out the people of Eplen needing his help.

He unintentionally mentioned the matter to him in secret, before taking off and asking him to look after his mother and sister.

The current Ji Shen thought that his father might still be alive somewhere in Eplen. But that was Ugorian territory now.

So going there wouldn't be easy.

F***! He really had his work cut out for him.

Since that was the original owner's wish, then he would have to fulfill it.

The current Ji Shen was very excited to be able to walk in such a strong body.

So the least he could do was help the original owner out.

In his last life, he was always envious of athletes and those who could go to the army since he spent his entire life on hospital beds.

But now, fate has blessed home with such a rare opportunity.

It was just that he had never been to the army before.

So what if he wasn't good enough?

Ji Shen didn't bother about their expressions and tried to focus his mind on the voice he just heard.
