An adorable 8-year-old child, her slightly messy white hair gleams in the soft glow of the night sky as she stands in her school clothes. Her eyes are heavy with sleep, and she gently rubs them, a hint of fatigue crossing her innocent face.

She is undoubtedly Ruby, but why is she still in her school clothes outside her house?

"Onii-Chan, are you? Why are you here?" Ruby's eyes widened in surprise as she rushed to me and touched me. "Is it real?"

"Hey, Ruby," I awkwardly chuckle. I guess that drunken guy isn't the one who changes the whole situation, but Ruby. But how? What happened that made this situation change? It's a headache to think about, so just forget it.

"Onii-Chan, why are you here?" She asks in surprise. Then she also sees Rena and again exclaims, "Onee-Chan is also here."

It's going to take some time to explain. Well, let's just lie to her that the two of us are playing courage games by going out at night.

"It's bad, Onii-Chan. Onee-Chan, it's not safe for us children to go out at night. Someone might kidnap us if we go out," Ruby scolds me and Rena.

After that, Ruby said she would come to my house. She doesn't want us to stay with her outside her house.

She might be afraid that if her father sees us, he might beat me and Rena. So she wanted me to take her to my house.

Well, if I take her with me then in the morning, it's going to be quite a problem to explain this to my mother and sister. Well, it's not that difficult to explain... okay, it's difficult.

What to do? One thing I can do is just leave the house with Ruby before Mother and Saki wake up... or maybe...
