Fugitive Princess

Inside Misaka's room, Ariel, Anne and Syl are sitting submissively on the floor in front of Misaka, who is sitting cross-legged on her bed with a menacing expression.

''So, in short, you people are not thieves, and you guys actually came from another world because you accidentally used the wrong summoning circle, and your intention was to summon me as a hero in your world?'' Misaka asked monotonously.

Ariel and Anne nodded hastily, while Syl remained stoic.

''Yea! That's exactly it! We're not thieves or anything! See, as proof of my being a princess, look how expensive my crown looks!'' Ariel responded by pointing to her bejeweled crown on her head.

''T-That's right! We clearly didn't break into your room! If you look closely, there's no sign of a break-in or anything like that!'' Anne added.

Misaka gruned, ''Do you really think I'm going to believe a ridiculous fairy tale like that?''

Misaka was on the verge of electrocuting them again by recapping the ridiculous history of these three. Magic doesn't exist, and scientifically speaking, the three of them could easily get into her room if any of the three have any esper abilities that serve for infiltration. A good example is the teleport ability of her roommate and friend, Shirai Kuroko.

She really wasn't mad that they broke into her room, after all, Misaka might not like it, but she is a celebrity and is seen as a lady among her peers and a model student. That said, there are all sorts of fans, including perverts who sometimes go overboard. Normally she would just hand them over to the Public Morals Committee, which is better known as ''Judgement'' for them to be punished for their actions.

She was pissed because she was waiting for the day to end so she could relax, eat her snack, play her game and read her romance manga, but none of that was possible because of two of the three invaders.

Just as Misaka was about to electrocute the three of them again to vent her frustration, she heard a familiar voice coming from above her.

''Onee-sama!! I was looking for you!''

Misaka looked up and saw a girl with tawny hair tied into two curly pigtails; the rest of her hair is left to hang as two rows of fringes divided in the middle. Her pigtails are tied in place by a red bow each. It was Shirai Kuroko, her roommate.

''E-Eh?! Kuroko?!''

Without her being able to react, Kuroko falls into her lap and hugs her, 'Ahh! Onee-sama's scent!' Kuroko thought.

However, she freezes as she looks ahead and saw three beautiful girls kneeling in front of Misaka.

Kuroko's expression darkened and she said in a low voice, ''Onee-sama.....who are these three.....why are they in our room.....and why do you seem to have a close relationship with them....?''

''Oh they are-!''

Before Misaka could respond, Kuroko puts a finger on her lips, ''No, Onee-sama. You don't need to explain yourself, I should have known you had such a hidden fetish. Bringuing in three pretty girls and making them dress up like characters from a fantasy story just to tame them! Oh, Onee-sama, I should have known sooner!'' Kuroko said whimpering as if she just found out Misaka had a terminal illness.

Kuroko huged her even tighter and started drooling with a perverted expression,''But Onee-sama! You should have told me sooner! I would have been a much better 'slave' than these three! Ehhehehehe~!''

A vein bursted in Misaka's head and lightning begins to shoot out of her body, ''Ku-ro-ko!!'' She exclaimed angrily.

Without thinking twice, Misaka unloads her lightning at Kuroko, mildly electrocuting her.

''So, you came from another world, and you apparead here because you accidentally used the wrong summoning circle, and your intention was to summon Onee-sama as a hero in your world? Do you really think I'm going to believe this?'' Kuroko, who had her hair slightly spiky and burnt, responded.

Misaka sighs, ''Of course, who would believe-''

''It's impossible for her to be summoned only as a heroine! She's not a heroine, but a damn goddess!'' Kuroko said, scolding Ariel, Anne and Syl, who were looking at her confusedly.

''Kuroko!!'' Misaka exclaimed embarassed.

Kuroko recoiled in fear of being electrocuted again and replied, ''Y-Yes, Onee-sama!''

''You're on the Disciplinary Committee, right? Arrest these three for using their esper powers to break into our room.'' Misaka ordered.

Kuroko saluted, ''Yes ma'am!''

She grabbed Ariel, Anne and Syl, who were a little depressed about being left out of the conversation, by the shoulders, and in a blink the four of them disappeared.

In the next moment, Kuroko, along with the three of them, appear inside a cell, in what appears to be a disciplinary building.

''E-Eh?! W-Where are we? How did we get here?'' Anne exclaimed in surprise as she looked around.

''Teleportation magic....? No, that's not magic, I don't feel mana in this girl, so how.....'' Syl mutters to herself, wondering how that little girl managed to teleport the three of them without using magic.

The only one of the three that seemed composed was Ariel, who after meeting Misaka, already knows where she was.

'Toaru Majutsu, huh. And to think I came to an anime world through the hero's summoning circle. Wait, doesn't that mean I can go to other anime worlds besides this one?' Ariel thought, getting excited that if her theory was right, she would have infinite possibilities to kidnap characters from other worlds to strengthen her kingdom.

''This place is the Judgment 177 Branch Office. You three will be detained until further notice.'' Kuroko says, responding to Anne.

Ariel looks at Kuroko with a mischievous smile, and then sighs with a sad expression, ''Oh, that's a shame, really, to think that I can't see more of that Misaka's photo album that I found in that room.....''

Kuroko freezes and looks wide-eyed at Ariel, ''W-What do you mean....?''

Ariel puts her hand over her mouth to hide her smile and pretended to be surprised, ''Oh my, was that Album yours? Sorry for snooping around, and since you teleported us so fast, I didn't have time to put it back in its original place, you know?''

Kuroko starts to shake but tries to keep her expression composed, but all three of them manage to catch Kuroko's look of despair.

She approached Ariel and puted her hands on her shoulders, ''H-Hey, where did you leave the A-Album?''

Ariel approacheed Kuroko's face and whispered in her ear, ''I have left it under Misaka's bed cover~''

Kuroko shivered, 'She's kidding, right? It's impossible for her to have found my Onee-sama Photo Collection Album! But....she knows about the Album, so I can only deduce that she saw it, and if what she said is true, that the Album is in Onee-sama's bed, who is probably taking a nap....I must retrieve it before Onee-sama finds it!'

She wiped her throat and said, '' All right, I have an urgent matter to attend to, '' She pointed to Ariel, Syl and Anne, ''Don't even think about trying to use your esper powers to escape!''

And with that, Kuroko disappears, leaving the three of them alone in the cell.

''Heh, that was a breeze.'' Ariel comments sarcastically as she gets up.

Syl and Anne then get up, and Syl asks, ''Princess? What was it about that Album that made her look so desperate?''

Ariel waves her hand carelessly, ''Don't worry about it, it was just a lie to make her go away. Now we can get out of here without anyone chasing us.''

''Wouldn't it be better to wait? She didn't seem like a bad girl, maybe if we prove to her that we came from another world, she can help us!'' Anne said.

Ariel sighed, ''It's a bad ideia. You see, this world has magic, but they didn't used magic, or rather, they denied the existence of magic as if magic is just a fantasy. What do you think would happen if they found out we could use magic?''

Anne tilts her head, confused, and Syl responded, ''I see. Humans fear what they don't know, in that case, it would be very dangerous and risky to show that we can use magic to prove that we came from another world, since we don't know the customs or ethics of this world. That was unexpectedly well thought out, princess.''

A vein bursts in Ariel's head, ''Syl? What do you mean by 'It was unexpectedly well thought out'? Are you calling me stupid?''

''Of course not, princess. I'm just surprised that the most incompetent princess on the human continent would have thought of such a possibility.'' Syl responded with hes usual stoic expression.

''As expected of the princess...?'' Anne said, still confused.

''I see, looks like I'll need to punish my esteemed maid later!'' Ariel said maliciously.

But to Ariel's surprise, Syl smiled and reponded, '' I'll be waiting for it, princess.''

A silence takes over the cell for a few seconds, then Ariel fakes a cough and changes the subject.

''Alright, let's get out of here and find out more about this world while Anne regains her magic!''

''How shall we proceed, princess?'' Syl replied, waiting for her orders.

''Just use your magic to make us invisible, Syl.'' Ariel responded.

Syl nods, then raises her hand, palm facing the ceiling. From the palm of her hand, a green magic circle grows and envelops the three of them, and then Syl chants.

<Level Two Spirit Magic: Camouflage.>

When Syl said the incantation, the green magic circle, as if melting under the three of them, created a camouflage layer under their bodies, reflecting the light and making them invisible.

Ariel, who was now covered under the magical cloak of camouflage, observes how the color of things was constantly changing, as if she were seeing the world through another dimension.

''I'm always curious about how your spirit magic works, Syl.'' Ariel commented as she was amused at the sight the magic brought.

Syl shrugs, ''Honestly, I don't know how it works either. I learned from my mother the incantations and their uses, but I don't know the theory behind them. I'm more of an expert in green magic.''

Then, wasting no time, a golden light gathers on Ariel's index finger, and with that finger, she simply flicks the wall opposite the iron grate, and with a loud bang, the wall is completely destroyed.

Anne stared in amazement at the concrete wall that was completely destroyed with just a flick of Ariel finger, ''I don't think I'll ever get used to this destructive power of the princess....'' She muttered in amazement.

''Let's go, we may be invisible, but people will soon come here to see what happened.'' Ariel ordered. Anne snapped out of her stupor, then the three quickly fled the place. As it looked like they were underground, Ariel simply ran while flicked the walls with her finger to find a way out.

Kuroko, who spent almost an entire hour looking carefully through Misaka's bed, in which she was sleeping, found absolutely no trace of her Album.

'It can not be! Did Onee-sama find itr and hide it, so to scold me after she wakes up?' She thought desperately.

Then, as if something whispered in her ear, Kuroko silently pulls a book from her shelf, which opens a hidden compartment next to the shelf.

She opens the compartment and sees her safe, in which she keeps her Misaka Photo Album, among other things. She enters her password, opens the safe, and sees her album inside, safe and sound.

She sighs in relief, and then realizes she's been completely fooled.

''That...that big titted cow! How dare she deceive me!'' She mutters fiercely with fire in her eyes.

And in a blink of a eye, she teleported to Judgment's prison cell, only to find that they escaped, and not only that, the branch office was nearly completely destroyed.

Fortunately, there was no one inside the building, so no one was hurt.

Kuroko clenches her fist tightly and grits her teeth angrily, '' I WILL HUNT YOU THREE TO THE END OF THE WORLD!'' She yelled.
