Chapter 7

I use my antennas to scan trough the cafeteria and fiend a board on a wall that could be a map. To check I go to the blocked door and push the crates out of the way with ease. Outside I go to the location where I saw the board and luckily it was the map, the base is big but not very advanced or secure. I memorize the map and walk back to the woman who is still siting in the same place.

With her purpose fulfilled I swipe my tail to her head and decapitate her, fast and pain less. Now then, thanks for the meal, and so I ate her corps too. I use the gained energy to change my spikes on the tail to blades, it is barley enough.

Finished spending my energy I jump up and disappear in the ventilation system in the direction of the elevators.

After fifteen minutes walking in the ventilation system I notice two humans slowly coming closer from the other side of the corridors while talking to each other. There talk has no interesting content so I just wait for them to come closer to my location.

Once the pass me, I open the grille and sneak out till Im above them. I let go of the roof and fall with my claws ready on the head of the man to the left while piercing the other one with my tail. Landing on the man, I use the claws to sever his head from his neck.

After cleaning up the mess I climb back in the ventilation system and continue my way to the elevators. I use the energy gained from the two humans to feed my three hearts and power them up.

Now that I think about it didn't the fire heart turn my saliva in to a burning liquid? To test it out I straight out decide to lick the wall of the ventilation system. To my surprise the place where I licked the wall is now a molten puddle of metal.

This can be a really good weapon so I note that I should use some energy to create a gland that can spray or spit out some of the liquid on my targets.

The rest of the way to the elevators I didn't meet any other humans so I wasn't able to get my fire gland. Standing before the elevator doors I look at the key card reader and feel slightly dumb for not expecting something like this.

Normally one could just go back and get the key card from one of the killed....but I ate them whole...with the key cards.

Haaa....Then I have to do it the long and annoying way. With my antennas I scan the surrounding and find a place on the elevator where no wires or electronics are and begin to make a hole trough it. Once inside without triggering the safety functions of the elevator I go to the control panel where you guess what? Also need a key card to use it!.

Calming down again I look a the floor choices and see that I could go up to the fifth floor of the overground base. With the help of a little mathematics I came to the conclusion that I need to go up three floors to reach over ground as I am in the third floor under ground.

With the number clear I jump up to the roof of the elevator and make a hole in it where I slip trough. On top of the elevator I look up trough the elevator shaft and prepare my self to climb up to the ground floor.

I jump to the walls and test my hold, satisfied with the resolute I start running up the elevator shaft at neck breaking speed. Continues counting the elevator doors that fly past me to not run past my goal.

Eleven minutes later I reach the targeted floor door. Climbing next to it and using my antennas and heat vision to map out the area I fiend a big hall with a counter to he left behind which a person is looking on a monitor. Future ahead I sens two people standing on both sides of the door which hope fully lead out side.

Using my saliva to melt a hole trough the door I slip soundless in the hall. Once out I hold my self in the blind spot of the woman on the counter and slowly sneak closer. Freedom may be close but there is no reason for hast, so I continue my way to the receptionist.

I manage to get behind her without her noticing anything but before I take her out I once again scan the area to be on the safe side.

Not noticing any other living being I proceed with my plan and slit the receptionists throat to which she begins to twitch and gurgle because of the blood lose.

Laying her to the ground so that the others dont notice her death to fast I wait for her to stop moving and then proceed to devour her.
