Chapter 2

After finishing examining my new self I again look at the researcher which is now nodding to him self and busy writing something down on his clipboard. I wait till he finishes and once again pushes some buttons to open an new door.

Behind the new door is a animal or more accurate a beast that I never saw before, it has the body of a salamander, two around wiggling antennas and two teethes that have a small hole in them as if wants to suck its prey dry trough its fangs.

Because I dont know what to expect from this foe I go on my highest alert and begin to circle slowly around the lizard like creature and observe its movements and habits.

I circle three times around the lizard while the said lizard doesn't move a single time from his spot. So decide to go on the more offensive side. With a fast jump forward and a sudden twist I slam my tail to his left flank.

The lizard reacted fast and retread just enough to not get hit by the tail. As soon as my swing pass he dives forward to my seemingly unprotected flank. With is fangs ready to pierce my flesh he chomps down only to eat the empty air as I already jumped up to avoid him. In my fall I ready my claws so that I can tear his back open as soon as I land. His antennas twitch and he throws him self to the right barely dodging my fall attack.

I jump backward to gain some distance between us so that I can think of a way to kill this lizard without taking to much damage. From the information I could gather in this short exchange it seems like he can predict my movements with the help of his antennas even outside of his vision.

With the facts clear I decide on an easy but effective plan which is to just to frontal attack him and Brut force my way to victory.

I did just that and stormed at the lizard to which his antenna once again begin to twitch and inform him of my future movements. I didnt care and slashed with my clawed arm at the neck of the lizard, in respond he takes a step backward to dogged and then attacks with his fangs. I twist my body so that it wont become fatal wound and continue with a bit to his shoulder.

We connected and I feel a sharp pain on my left side while also feeling how my sharp teethes penetrate the lizards scales and gig deep in his flesh.

I have to react fast and kill the lizard before he sucks me dry. So I bring my tail with a piercing motion in the direction of his eyes to destroy his brain. The antennas of the lizard begin to twitch furiously to warn him of this deadly strike, he let go of my left side and tries to get away from my incoming tail. I burrow my teethes deeper in his flesh and hold him in place till the lizard gave a painful shirk and stopped moving.

I let go of the right side of the lizard and look down on the dead enemy with a little respect before I began to devour him whole.

Once finished I concentrate on the fast growing energy in my body that looks to be very eager to start its work. But this time its slightly different, I can feel that I am able to to use a part of this energy to create a additional body part. After a deeper inspection I found out that Im able to get the same antennas like the lizard if Im willing to sacrifice a part of my energy.

From the additional information gained trough the energy I found out that with the help of these antennas Im able to feel the vibration of the air and predict the position of things around me.

That is an awesome ability but it is also dangerous. If the researcher discover that I can take on the abilities of the prey that I ate then it would get only harder to escape from here.

With this I have to be careful but it would be a waste to not use it so I have to make it clever. I willed the energy to instead of create two big antennas hundreds of smaller antennas between my fur.So it will look like I got some more fur but nothing else.

Pleased with the plan I direct the rest of my energy once again in my size, but it is lesser than on my first time.

The same burning pain from before once again came over me but this time there were all around my piercing spikes of pain, Most likely were the new antennas grow.

After the pain stopped My size grew to 80cm without tail and with tail 170cm, my height is 40-45cm without holding my head up.
