Threat and opportunity

The battle was still ongoing, but it was practically won, and there was no need or room for Athos to intervene.

"Found it." Athos located a single orc corpse on the fourth layer, killed with a crushed torso. He turned the corpse into an undead and immediately placed a few hundred soldiers as subordinates to destroy the mind before it could offer any resistance.

"Dwarvin, come here for a second. I need someone to act as an interpreter." He called the dwarf and began to question him about who they were and what they were planning to do.

They were greatly surprised when they discovered his origin. According to the orc himself, they were a band of refugees from different clans that had been invaded by mutant semi-humans.

The orc didn't know where they came from, but one day, some semi-humans with unique powers and abilities invaded the village where they lived, killing everyone who resisted and chasing the fugitives.
