What Is Going On? A GODDESS!!
My name is Sylvia Lancaster, and I'm your typical medical student working day in and day out to study for exams, to complete reports on a plants medicinal properties and medications. I was so focused in my study on this one medication that I didn't hear the alarm going off on my phone for a warning that a tsunami was coming... unfortunately I obviously died and am now in some dark space that i've been walking in for maybe hours, probably minutes but it definetly feel like hours. After what felt like hours there was a light that finally opened up the entire dark space and what I saw was breath taking. I was on a floating island and there was one tree in the middle that looked like a cherry blossom but way more beautiful with a view of a ruin that looked ancient. I walked over to the tree and put my hand on it admiring its beauty. Then I walked to the ruin and tried to read the insciption that was writen on what looked to be the entry way. For some reason i could read it even though it looked to foreign. It said 'He lies the last of the spirits of the goddess's forest'. "What happened to this forest for this place to be in ruins". "A war is what happened" said the voice that suddenly appeared behind me.
"Forgive me if I seemed to have startled you, a war broke out between the angels and the demons. What you see now is all thats left of what was once my beautiful forest." 'huh'... "WHAAAAAAT!! You're THE Goddess of this once used to be forest." She laughed and said "Yes, I am but I have called your lost soul here for a mission that I chose for you to accept or to refuse. You'll be reincarnated into one of my spirits and be a system for this young man." She showed me a photo of the man through what looked like a looking portal "Oh and if you do happen to refuse then I will let you reincarnate into an ugly trolls body." 'What a wicked goddess' I thought as she looked at me with a grin when she said it which truely sent chills down my spine. "Since I can't refuse then i'll just have to accept with certain conditions." I asked.
She said fine and to ask away with what they are and I told her that I want to be able to heal him when I want, I want to be able to use the system fully and have him access a store to buy items and such, and I want to have a real body not be in the back of his mind. "For your first and last request, I can only make it so that whenever you gain enough exp you can evolve to a body that can heal whoever but with limitations. Until then your stuck in the back of his mind and as for your second request I will grant with a penalty. The penalty is that he has to be at a certain cultivation in order to access the store function. Is that okay with you?" I just nodded my head in agreement but then everything around the area started spinning and I started feeling sleepy. "Good luck my chosen one" was all I heard before falling asleep. When I woke up I found that I was in a space with stars all around me and what looked like the outside world but flatscreen tv sized. I went and tried to touch it and my hand went right through it.
On this screen I saw a man getting bullied for being weak and that he should just go die and I got super angry at them for being such jerks but they're cultivation was a bit higher than this man's cultivation. Why didn't he stick up for himself, I mean anyone from my era would've..... "AH" I just understood what her last words meant and it should be interesting to see where this goes... "Just watch you wicked goddess, I will show you that he will have confidence in himself again. Just you wait and see muahahahahahah" hehe I always wanted to do that. Now I wait for my chance to pop up into the back of his mind. I mean I already am but he doesnt know that hehe. Man I sounded creepy, let's never do that again! As I watched the man enter his hut, I saw that his mom was sleeping and he went and made food with what little they had. 'Is he living in poverty' as I thought this he brought what looked like porrage to his mother and said that she needed to eat or she won't get better. 'So his mothers sick' Once I thought this, his next words really hit my heart and punctured it. " Don't you worry mom, I will be able to afford medicine soon and help you get better. I promise."
As he started crying in his room about everything in life and how everything went down hill because his dad left after he knew about his mom's illness and never bothered to try to help them. "AAAARGGH HIS DAD IS A PEICE OF SHIT!!! How could he do that to his own family and disown them when they did nothing wrong? What a tool!" Okay I feel a little better now that I have all that rage out of me but still.... Wait, is this why he doesn't believe in himself anymore because he couldn't protect his mom from anything bad and that he had to take on the burden of everything alone which led him to have severe depression..... Yeah, other than maybe the depression, I don't think the rest is right. It's like there is a fragment of his mind missing something important. Maybe I can find the missing fragment once this system starts. Oh man this might be harder than I thought it would be but I am totally up for the challenge."
