The blind date has arrived

Zhi Shan was pacing restlessly back and forth in his office.

Why was this woman making a simple gesture of gratitude so difficult??

Chang Yong, who considered himself to be a blood brother of Zhi Shan was particularly looking forward to this day.

It was the famous yearly Nine family's gala, which included both the Chang family and Zhi family.

But the juiciest part was that Zhi Shan was once again coaxed by his undefeatable grandmother into bringing a blind date for the gala.

Well, not exactly a blind date.

"Hello." Her melodious voice was slightly provocative and polite at the same time, completely contrasting her shy and conservative appearance.

While Zhi Shan nodded and continued awkwardly sitting in his chair, Chang Yong immediately got up and gave a warm welcome hug to the stunning beauty.

Chang Yong revealed a naughty smile and gave a "What? You are anyways not going to go out with her. At least let this brother enjoy the evening" look at his friend.

This has happened so many times, that Zhi Shan even lost the count. He couldn't help but wonder, maybe this guy is why he was still single...

After all, more than him, the two little buns, needed a mother. And their needs always preceded his needs.

Fortunately for him, this young woman in front of them was already well aware of the famous playboy Chang Yong's antics.

He needed this blind date to go well, at least for a while. Else the old hag would nag him for months together.

Step 1. There should be absolutely no screw-ups from his side, else there would be hell to pay from grandma Zhi.

Step 3. And finally, if everything else fails, there was always the twin hurdles that came to his rescue.

If there was someone pickier than Zhi Shan in their taste of women, it would be the two little buns.

So far, all the women he had introduced to his evil minions, had been nitpicked to the bone and shooed away heartlessly.

And thus, the date chapter would be tentatively closed for a few months, and grandma Zhi would leave him be for a while.

Well, only for a few weeks though... and then the cycle would start all over again.

After all, the old woman was extremely determined to find a bride for her precious grandson, and a mother for her great-grandkids.
