14 The Plan

"It's going to be fun, trust me. Plus, I can do this." I said with a smile and grabbed another dried fish, but this time, I took out an Ant-Man enlargement disc and slapped it on the fish. So, under Goose's gleaming eyes, a giant dried fish appeared. He didn't hesitate and, from his mouth, giant tentacles emerged and wrapped around the fish. After the horrifying show, he returned to his normal and licked his paw. I could swear he patted his belly afterward.
With one eye twitching a little, I decided to ignore it, since I expected it.
"How about it? Will you come with me?" I asked, smiling.
"Meoww!" He meowed and rubbed his head against my legs. I picked him up, returning to the girls with a cat in my arms.
"Goose? What is he doing here? And why did you pick him up?" Maria asked, perplexed.
"I like cats, and this one is very cute and special." I said with a smile as I kissed Goose's head.
The girls gave me strange looks but didn't say anything. Inside Millenium, Carol, Maria, Goose, and I quickly returned to Earth.
But Carol looked at me with brighter eyes. I guess she likes a guy who likes cats.

Inside Millenium, Carol, Maria, Goose, and I quickly returned to Earth.
"Carol, I will keep the Tesseract. Leaving it with the Skrulls will only bring destruction to the rest of their people. Earth has Asgard's protection, and as long as Odin remains alive, it will be safe to keep the Tesseract on Earth, and other forces will not dare to covet it." I informed Carol.
She nodded after being surprised; she knew about Asgard during her time with the Kree. She just didn't know that Earth was under its protection.
Returning to Maria's house, after some goodbyes, Carol and I returned to Millenium.
"I can't believe you convinced me to go to your house just a day after we met." Carol said, surprised.
"Well, I have this charm. Besides, I was serious about training your power; it wasn't an attempt to get you into my bed." I said, smiling at her.
She looked at me with narrowed eyes after hearing my explanation.
"Are you sure?" She said with a hint of mischief in her voice.
"12% sure." I said, looking at her seriously.
"*Cough**Cough* 12%?" Carol choked on what I said and asked me incredulously.
"Well, I have to be honest." I said, smiling.
As we teased and provoked each other, we arrived at my mansion, with Millenium in stealth mode.
"Welcome to my humble abode!" I said, smiling mischievously.
"Huh! Very humble indeed." she said, rolling her eyes at me, amused.
[Welcome home, sir!] Jarvis said when I arrived at the doors, which opened by themselves.
"It's good to be back. Pepper returned? I want to introduce someone to her." I asked as Carol followed me, wondering who Pepper was.
"I'm here, Tony. Where have you been all night?" Pepper appeared in the living room and asked.
"Solving some matters from the outside world. Pepper, meet Carol, and Carol, this is Pepper, and Pepper, the one who jumped on the couch is Goose, our new cat. *Ahem* Peps, remember what we talked about?" I introduced everyone, and then I coughed in my fist and said embarrassingly to Pepper.
"What did we talk about? Ah!" Pepper looked at me in doubt, then looked at Carol, and a light bulb lit up in her mind.
"Damn it, Tony, you should have warned me in advance. It would have been embarrassing if I were prepared, let alone now." Pepper said, looking at me with one of her eyes twitching.
She then sighed in frustration and approached Carol.
"Carol, right? Can I talk to you privately?" She asked.
Carol was completely confused at this point, probably wondering who Pepper was and what she represented to me, but she followed Pepper.
While waiting for a few minutes in the living room, I saw one of the walls explode with a flash of light and a scream saying, "He what?!?" in Carol's voice.
I continued calmly sipping a glass of juice while waiting.
After a while, Pepper and Carol came out of the room where they had been talking and approached me.
"Tony, you're lucky to have Pepper as the CEO of your company because she knows how to convince someone to make a lousy deal. I don't even understand how she did it, but I'll give you a chance, just one chance." Carol arrived and said angrily to me.
What Pepper talked to her about was the possibility of her dating me, considering I already have Pepper.
"Okay. You won't regret it. But our date, and therefore my chance, won't be today because you're upset, and anything I do will have a 1% chance of success with ten times the effort. Today, I'm going to train you for real, as we promised before." I said and invited her to my training area.
And she followed but marched strongly, even breaking some pieces of the floor. Fortunately, the nanobots forming the house repaired it quickly.
"What's with the house?" Carol asked. She was in a bad mood, but curiosity won out.
"It's all made up of extremely advanced nanotechnology, created by myself." I said with a smile.
Carol was surprised and didn't ask any more questions.
Arriving in the training area, I began to explain to Carol.
"Carol, your powers were born from your body absorbing the energy of a light-speed engine, but more specifically, from the Tesseract. Understanding the origin of your power will work wonders in your training and creativity in using it." I said, looking seriously at Carol.
Carol also stopped her bad mood and focused on listening to me. She was serious and seemed to genuinely put her faith in my teaching abilities.
Of course, there's also the influence of when I told her to use her heart and not her mind, and it worked.
"Do you know what the Tesseract is?" Carol asked, with furrowed eyebrows.
I looked into her eyes and nodded.
"When the universe was created, the Big Bang sent six elemental crystals through the virgin universe. Each of these Infinity Stones controls an essential aspect of existence. Space, Reality, Power, Soul, Mind, and Time. If they are all gathered, with a snap of the fingers, the universe can be destroyed, and with another snap, the universe can be remade." I said solemnly.
Pepper and Carol were shocked when they heard what I said.
