Making congee

Ravi's lips twitched as he still stood in front of the fridge. Aside from the leftovers from yesterday, the fridge was empty. Empty to him.

There was a carton of milk, some sausages but that is about it.  He even had a cupboard filled with the nation's instant. Instant hotpot, Instant mac and cheese, instant noodles, Instant porridge, instant mashed potatoes, instant oatmeal, instant rice, Instant soup. There were various sauce mixes and even powdered eggs.

He could feel a headache coming on and was not sure how exactly one would create a powdered egg.

Ravi was speechless.

He opened the second cupboard, it was packed full of snacks and beer, his phone rang and he closed the cupboard to pick it up.

"Are you particular with any brand? Should I pick the most expensive?"

Ravi smiled, "The most expensive does not mean it would be the best. I like Drift. For the preserved egg, get the one that was packaged today or yesterday evening."
