1 Chapter 1 Travel Through Another World

In the night, the river was beating the stone-built bank crazily. Jack rushed out of a row of dilapidated houses and walked down the stone ladder by the river. He immersed himself in the cold water, leaned his head on the ladder, and controlled his breath.

He had run at least seven kilometers.

He had no idea why the war broke out tonight and why there was no backup. The surging river made his heart beat wildly. He didn't know how long it had passed. He didn't climb up carefully until he was numb and felt that he couldn't stay in the water anymore.

Jack looked around. It was quiet. It seemed that the group of people didn't chase after him.

Jack took out his pistol and threw it into the water angrily. Of course, he was not throwing the gun into the water as usual to prove his innocence. He just wanted to know who gave him a gun! If it weren't for this, he wouldn't have been beaten so badly!

According to the rules, he was not dead tonight, so he must report to the boss. It must be a scolding. 'It's okay that the Blue Crystal didn't trade successfully but lost so many people. However, he was just at the bottom of the group, and the real responsibility was not his.

Jack turned around, and the moon poked its head out of nowhere. The dim light made the three people on the shore look very tall and terrifying.

"God." Jack's limbs went numb suddenly. The man took up the gun and Jack jumped into the river without hesitation.

With a harsh gunshot, Jack waved his hands quickly. The next moment, a pain that seemed to break the nerves spread all over his body. Jack couldn't help screaming. "Shit!"

"jdniajsdsxkcnol!"

"What?" Jack was confused. He couldn't understand what language it was.

Jack covered his hands and looked aside. An old man looked at him kindly. It was not until then that Jack realized what he was looking at was a bustling block.

But this block was very strange. There were one or two floors of houses everywhere, and a castle stood on the mountain in the distance. The floor was also paved with slate, and some places were pitted, with water and mud everywhere.

He looked at the old man next to him. He was wearing clothes like medieval, emitting a strange smell, and the wrinkles on his face were so deep that could kill mosquitoes.

If he hadn't felt the pain on his hand, Jack would have suspected that he was dead.

Jack asked the old man in a hurry, "Excuse me, where are we?"

"ksncsdnsdsdn!" the old man replied.

Jack raised his eyebrows. Did he come to a foreign country?

Seeing Jack's puzzled face, the old man suddenly widened his eyes, as if he had suddenly realized something. Then he put his hand on Jack's head. Jack, who had always been vigilant, subconsciously stepped back. Jack glanced at him as if blaming him for his action. Although Jack didn't know the old man, his intuition told him that he wouldn't hurt him. Jack suddenly stopped moving, and the old man's hand on Jack's forehead was slightly warm.

Soon, the heat began to rise, and soon it began to burn. Jack felt like something was flashing in front of his eyes, constantly flashing. Gradually, Jack felt dizzy and wanted to break free. But the magic thing was that his body could not move at all!

'Damn it! What kind of evil skill did I encounter?' Or were I drugged?

Just as Jack was full of regret for letting the old man touch him, the old man took his hand back. "Well, welcome to the Niles kingdom."

"The Niles kingdom?" Jack was surprised that he could understand the old man's words! "You... I suddenly learned a foreign language?"

The old man replied, "Yes." The old man looked at Jack up and down and said, "It's strange. You seem to have magic talent. Why can't you learn such simple language?"

"Magic?" Jack was even more confused. How could he know magic? "Grandpa, where is this place?" In an instant, he learned a language. He was not on the earth.

"This is the capital city of the Niles Kingdom, Niles city. Young man, where did you come from?" The old man pinched Jack's jacket with his fingers, his eyes full of curiosity.

Jack searched for the name of Niles in his mind but didn't get any information. Was he reincarnated? Or did he travel through time?

Jack immediately admitted his identity as an outsider, and then happily asked the old man. The old man explained the Niles kingdom to Jack. The more he told Jack, the more Jack felt that he had traveled through time.

The Niles kingdom was located under the foot of the Niles mountain, and there was also a Niles river that pierced through the whole country. There were 19 countries in the world, and Niles ranked fourth. It could be considered a great power in the world.

As the old man spoke, he began to analyze the situation of the world, trying to show off his current political research. However, Jack didn't understand at all. He didn't even know whether the old man referred to a country or a person.

Jack noticed that the old man had talked a lot and his throat was almost dry. He remembered that there was a can of coke in his pocket.

So, he took it out and said, "Grandpa, drink some water to moisten your throat."

"What's in your hand?" The old man asked Jack.

"Coke." Jack took it for granted. Then he suddenly remembered that they were not in G country. People in this world might have never seen cola.

"Coke? What's it?" The old man took the cola from Jack's hand and smelled it, showing a trace of disgust.

"It's delicious." To prove it, Jack took the cola back and had a sip. Then he gave it to him.

The old man tasted it carefully with curiosity, and his eyes immediately lit up. "Wow, it's very special." He took a few more drinks in a row and drank them up in a few seconds.

"Listen, boy, in exchange, I decide to be your master and let you learn powerful magic!" The old man said confidently. At this time, the look on his face made him look dozens of years younger.

Jack wondered whether the old man was a liar when he mentioned magic.

"Do you think I'm a liar now? And you've been short of money recently." The old man looked unfathomable.

Hearing the old man speak out the complaints in his heart, and his current situation, he did not know the old man. Could it be that there was some strange power? Thinking of this, Jack began to believe the old man

"Is this the mind-reading skill? Master!" Jack called him directly.

The old man patted him on the shoulder happily and said, "Don't worry. I won't let you admit me for anything. Come here. This is the gift I gave you."

Jack took a piece of white from the old man's hand. At first glance, it looked like half of a shell. "Master... This is...?"

"It's for self-defense. Ordinary people can't hurt you with it."

"How?" It was the size of a palm, but there was no rope. Was it stuck to my body?

As soon as he finished his question, the master pressed the shell against Jack's chest.

With a beam of golden light, the shell slipped into Jack's clothes and stuck to Jack's chest muscle.

Sticky? Jack quickly took off his clothes and looked around, but he didn't find anything. He didn't touch it, but he could feel something there.

"Now the divine weapon recognizes you as its owner. You only need to say that "Fearless king" to display its power, but this is just one of the curses. You still have a lot of magic to learn." Master looked at Jack with satisfaction.

Jack tried to read, "Fearless king!"

"Boom!" in an instant, a blast of airwave burst out from the surrounding area and cut off all the trees in the woods around, raising a cloud of dust on the ground.

Jack came forward to confirm and found that the tree was broken.

"A divine weapon!" Jack couldn't help admiring his master.

Let's see who dares to mess with me! Jack was lost in his imagination.

"Over there!" Suddenly, Jack heard a roar. Being sensitive, he immediately turned his head to look for the source of the voice. As soon as he saw a few people who were also wearing vintage clothes running over, the old man pulled Jack and ran forward. "Run!"
