I am the Strongest Man - CH005 - The Tactician and The Beast P3

The game has now resumed. Farming Vocational' and Crimson High's team are now walking towards their positions.

Jamie: "Hey, yo! Guys, keep in mind the things I said to you earlier."

Kirk, Stan, Rein and Anthony: "No, problem!"

Perseus looks at Jamie and wonders what instruction he gave to those people.

Perseus: (Hmmm… They look alive and calm now.)

Rein talks to Perseus.

Rein: "No time to think, I'm gonna drop 50 on you if you're not focused enough."

Perseus: "Like hell, man."

Rein grins and talks back to Perseus.

Perseus: "I'm telling you, man. Jamie is different."

After Rein says those words, he immediately runs to the center three but Perseus manages to catch up due to his speed. Rein receives the ball from Anthony, he pumps fake and runs to the right, but Perseus won't be tricked by that pump fake and he moves along with Rein…

Bump.

Jamie is now on Perseus' side, he went there without Perseus ever noticing. He picked Perseus and he proceeded to roll but Shay was able to block Jamie's way, somehow.

Perseus looks at the ball and Jamie holds the ball and moves his hand to throw it back to the running Rein and Perseus bites on his bait, he drops the ball and does post up one dribble to Shay, then fades and shoots!

Jamie: "Wooo! Two for me!"

Jamie's long arms are one heck of a weapon.

John receives the ball from the inbound and moves it to the half court. He is now checking the court. He sees Perseus being guarded by Jamie and Rein.

Perseus is now in trouble as he can't move properly due to heavy defense.

Perseus: "Man, what did I ever do to you guys?"

Jamie: "I heard from the boys that you are their main arsenal, so, let's see."

Perseus: "Ahhh… tch-!"

John passes to Clint and he passes it to Nathan below.

Nathan posts up and passes it back John.

As John receives the ball, he sees Shay still wide open, so he didn't hesitate to Shay.

Shay catches the ball and forms to shoot when Kirk suddenly jumps responding to his fake so he bounce passes it and Nathan slams it down.

Jamie: "Ahhh~~ I wonder if I should guard you now, some IQ there… hmmmm~~~!"

Shay keeps it to himself but he was shocked to the fact he almost got his shot swatted out.

They are now running back to the other side of the court.

Nathan: "Nice pass, Shay!"

Shay: "N-no worries. He-he"

Perseus: "Look, Shay!"

Jamie dribbles the ball as fast as he can and manages to pass Shay in a blink of an eye.

As soon as he saw this, he immediately pointed John to switch to Rein. Their defense is in a mess right now, and as Jamie continues to drive to the basket, Perseus blocks his way and contests Jamie's shot but Jamie manages to look at his back and see Stan running to the baseline from the right corner three. He then drops passes to Stan who is now almost in the baseline.

Jamie: "There you are."

Stan goes in with the reverse layup leaving Clint in the dust with his speed and flexibility.

Perseus looks at the scoreboard.

Time remaining: 8:45

A minute and fifteen seconds has gone by.

[Note: They are using two 10-minutes halves because this is just a scrimmage.]

Nathan inbounds the ball but hesitates to pass it to John as Jamie is lurking on John's back without him noticing. He decides to pass it to Perseus but Rein suddenly moves to guard Perseus. He can't pass it back to Nathan because of Nathan's lack of dribbling ability. He looks at John but Jamie won't let John go. He dribbles straight to Rein, Rein prepares his body for a collision to get a charging foul but Perseus is aware of that strategy and pulls back, hesitates then goes to Rein's left and crosses to the right. Rein, being persistent, he follows Perseus as fast as he can and he catches up but Perseus sudden stop makes him trip a bit.

Perseus continues to drive leaving Rein, Jamie switches to Perseus. He crosses Jamie, making him one step ahead to the top right of the key. He pulls up but Jamie's long arms manage to block his vision quite a bit, there is also Kirk who stands in front of him and puts up his arms to defend. Perseus manages to catch that slight opening and move his arms counter-clockwise and bounce passes it to Nathan who is wide open.

Nathan lays in the ball with ease.

They are now tied again.

Nathan: "Nice pass!"

Perseus: "I wanna shoot it, tho…"

Nathan: "Hahahahahaha!"

Jamie: (That Perseus is really problematic. I already told them to double him as much as possible, I even went out of my way to guard him as well, but it seems not enough…)

Rein: "Sorry, Jamie. His speed and dribbling really caught me off guard."

Jamie: "Nah, like I said we won't be able to judge them for like 5 minute or so of playing with them. I will call a timeout after the next four possessions."

Stan: "Sorry for not rotating fast enough to Nathan. That Shay is holding me quite tight. I can't get him off me easily."

Jamie: "That's fine. We'll sort this out. Come on, inbound the ball."

Three possessions went on back to back.

Anthony passes the ball to Jamie and to Stan for a three.

Perseus drives the ball to the half-court, Jamie is now guarding Perseus and Rein on John.

Perseus easily shakes off Jamie's guard. He posts up near the three point line and John rotates and moves to the side of Perseus. Perseus, passes the ball to John, and John passes it back to a running Perseus.

Perseus receives the ball and passes it to Clint who is running to the baseline and Clint lays it in.

Rein catches the pocket pass from Anthony, Perseus is on him and he bounces it off to Kirk, and Kirk fades and shoots.

Perseus crosses the court and checks on everyone. John works so hard to get off Jamie's guards. Shay sets up a screen for John. John receives the ball from Perseus, catches and shoots the ball from the arc.

Jamie: "Timeout!"

The referee blows his whistle signalling a timeout.

Crowd1: "The game is so fast paced. I wonder if they are already tired."

Crowd3: "Maybe? Man, they are running back to back, scoring after another."

Crowd2: "This might be exhausting for you guys, but they are athletes, but yeah they should be nearing their limit if this continues. They might need a breather. Especially because they don't have much reserves in their bench."

Jamie: "Coach, where did they get such an amazing player? Why didn't you recruit him?"

Crimson Coach: "I don't know either. If I have known him before, do you think I would let him get off my hands?"

The timeout ended.

Crimson made a substitution, here is the current lineup.

Gym Announcer: "Crimson made a substitution, here is their current lineup."

Perseus: (Hmmm… They made a rotation. Tsukasa on me? They really don't want us to win this game, eh…)

FVC: "You guys, listen, they made a rotation to prevent us from scoring any further. You, Perseus, can you fend off Tsukasa's defense?"

Perseus: "I can't tell yet, but I will."

Nathan: "You can definitely do it, man!"

Referee blows the whistle signalling the end of the timeout.
