16 The Omen (Part 2/2)

Urgh!

'Where am I?' Saber thought as he found himself laid down on top of a seemingly indefinite in-length body of dark blue water, another surprising thing was that his body seemed to be semi-transparent! He gazed at the skies and was able to see multiple different things that he had never seen in his life.

In the skies, two dark blue stars were radiating immense heat, behind them was what seemed to be a black hole that should have been able to suck anything in. Behind that was a gathering of an uncountable number of lights that swirled in a similar way to a galaxy.

Lastly, behind everything, numerous blobs of dark blue spheres were floating. They all had numerous swirling galaxy-looking things in them and they were also so numerous that Saber was unable to count them.

"Where the hell is this?" Saber thought, but his voice resounded throughout the seemingly indefinite dark blue space. Right after, Saber was once again shocked to the core, since he then went on to hear something behind him.

"This place is what you will later know as our mind domain" A voice oddly similar to Saber's own was then heard. It was incredibly deep but sounded in Saber's almost transparent ears like a whisper. It was more accurate to say, it sounded like the devil's whisper.

Saber instantly darted his gaze behind him, where he saw a being exactly like him. He had incredibly pale skin with dark blue eyes and hair. His face was an incredible mixture of cuteness and devilish handsomeness while his height was also the same as Saber, being 6,2.

"Huh? Who are you?!" Saber shouted in surprise, causing the man who was in front of him to click his tongue in annoyance. He then stretched out his right hand and placed his index finger on Saber's forehead as he said.

"You have a brain. Your brain can outsmart anything and anyone in existence yet, you do not use it. Even those stupid beings would have realized that I am you, so why are you acting as if you are unaware. Ever since you entered this world...No, even before that, you haven't ever truly used your brain!!" Saber (2) shouted to his counterpart with visible anger.

"Huh? How am I supposed to figure out you are my counterpart, I thought you were one of those old ancestors who hide in a person's soul, help that person obtain incredible strength and then steal that person's body when he thinks he has helped them enough!!!" Saber shouted in defense.

"Hmm, yeah, that actually is a fair accusation. It seems that this is kind of a suspicious scenario. Well, it's not as if I have any control inside of here, so I wasn't the one to bring you here. So, please do not think of me like some ancient old monster since I am quite literally the other half of you.

Since the beginning, I was stuck inside of here, and I was greatly surprised by the fact that you also entered here...tell me, are you about to die?" Saber (2) said as his eyes turned colder when he spoke those last few words.

This brought about a situation where Saber (1) looked down toward the body of dark blue water with slight embarrassment at the fact that his counterpart was able to guess his dilemma. Seeing such a reaction, Saber (2) couldn't help but click his tongue in annoyance as he then began flying one of the two burning dark blue stars.

"Wait, are you saying that you are always here?" Saber asked his counterpart but he then realized that his other half seemingly disappeared. Turning his gaze, he suddenly realized that his surroundings began heating up. Not only that, the atmosphere began becoming darker as he darted his gaze to the skies and saw a scene that greatly shocked him!

His other half was pulling a star towards him!!

But, before he could even register what was happening, he saw his other half throw the star toward him, and before being able to even register what was happening, he was swallowed up by the star and instantly lost consciousness.

.

.

.

His body was blasted into the floor of the ocean as the remaining living creatures were killed by the mere impact of the explosion between Saber's body and the ocean floor.

Not even a second later...the body of Saber was instantly healed, as all of his limbs appeared once more.

The massive beast watched on as the waters began swirling around Saber's body, the waters began bubbling with intense heat. Explosions rang and the waters turned into vortexes, the surroundings were beginning to form cracks as the void was the scene on the other side.

Just as the beast was about to immediately approach the lifeform he assumed was causing all of this, said lifeform opened his eyes, and thereafter, an incredible scene took place. As soon as he opened his eyes, in the surrounding two kilometers, the water instantly disappeared...or more accurately put, they were seemingly evaporated into smoke.

Saber lazily got up, his skin was melting and his bones and muscles were following suit. Though this looked like Saber, there was something different about him as he placed his hand on his jaw and said to the stunned monster.

"Oi, little fish, I am unable to stay here for long but I wanted to know, how would you like to die?" Saber asked as his expression was dark and with a sadistic smirk on his deformed face. And, as if it could understand what he just said, the beast seemed to have gotten angry by this statement and he immediately plunged toward Saber's body.

Sigh!

Seeing such an act, Saber showed a bored expression as he sighed and stretched his right hand out. His palm faced the beast as dark blue energy came out of it, this energy beam flashed across the surroundings and wherever it went, was left with cracks in the atmosphere. The beast that spanned over one hundred meters had long died as Saber's body unconsciously dropped to the ground.

Well, saying his body fell to the floor would be wrong since he was only left with a skeleton.

Inside Saber's mind domain, Saber was surprised to find out that he was currently standing on top of a body of water.

"Wasn't I just fighting that monster...No, that wasn't me, but, I still felt as if I was in control." Saber uttered in confusion.

"Well, it is what we'll be when we are fused. You wouldn't realize and neither would I." Saber's counterpart said, his body suddenly appeared next to Saber (1).

"Hmm, the power I felt just now, what was it?" Saber (1) asked with his gaze turning to the skies...or more accurately, the two dark blue stars which floated in the skies.

And, with a mysterious smile and his figure beginning to disappear, Saber (2) replied. "Haha, don't we both like mysteries?! Even I do not know what it is, so I guess we'll find out in the future. But, for now, I guess it's time for you to leave here. Our body isn't going to move by itself."

As he said that, his other half also began disappearing from this dark blue space. Saber (1) had a smile on his face similar to what his other half had on his face as Saber (1) said out loud.

"Hehe, it truly is interesting."
