129 Saber's Disappointment & Bruce's Conviction

The mere power that radiated out of his body was so much that even the guards that guarded the gate of this palace had no choice but to shake in fear.

Saber's aura reached a level where it affected even the real world to an unimaginable degree...!

The darkness of the void of space was ever-present only lit up by the beautiful arrays of stars. Seeing this scene was a certain golden-skin humanoid who was the first to be released from his prison when Saber entered the planet with the Immortals. Standing next to him was a certain green-skinned humanoid woman who was the one kneeling in Saber's throne room.

"Alexander...Is that what I think it is...?" The green-skinned woman asked the golden-skinned man next to her who we now know as Alexander when seeing the shocking scene of what seemed to be a barely discernable barrier that was a few thousand meters away from them!...

"Hmm, it seems so Olivia..." Alexander replied with a slightly stunned light flashing through his eyes. What they laid their eyes on was the barrier of a new Solar System! This was a shocking but also welcomed discovery since they had already conquered every planet in their Solar System that spanned for slightly longer than 10 light-years!!

"Should we contact Lord Emperor Saber, or should we first investigate...maybe we can conquer a few planets before contacting him. He may reward us for our efforts." Olivia stated with stars in her eyes. She seemed to be a blind loyalist of Saber, not that there were few since his strength was godly in their eyes.

"Hmm, yes I think we should first explore this Solar System. After conquering a few planets, we can inform Lord Emperor Saber of our great achievements..."

(Back At Saber's Palace)

In the throne room of the palace made only for the emperor of the Saber Empire, one can see the figure of origin Saber sitting on his throne as what seemed to be balls of a purple flame danced around his head. His hollow eyes peered into the holographic screen that only he could see as anyone would be shocked by the words written on this screen.

THRUM!!!

The contents written on it could shock anyone. But, the ones who knew the meaning of the contents on the holographic screen would feel a shock that would be multiple levels higher...!

"Such a disappointment. I expected when one reaches the Immortal realms, they would at the very least have an indefinite lifespan. I already am a True Lifeform, so my lifespan would be multiple times longer than a fleshy lifeform, yet even I haven't become Immortal..." When seeing the contents and more accurately, his lifespan, origin Saber couldn't help but mutter in disappointment.

"But, with two lives in hand, I guess my lifespan is triple what it currently is." He followed up once he remembered that his True Undying Body Art had finally reached level 2. His upper clothing dispersed in thin air as Saber gazed at the tattoo on his chest.

The only difference is the silvery outline that was never present before Saber reached the second level of the body art...

"Haa...I guess I should get back to training..." Saber mumbled while sighing under his breath. He felt as if he was a robot sometimes. He only wanted to travel the universe and whatever there was outside of it, after all, when he began jumping worlds, his first goal was of course to learn of the unknown. But, Saber knew, the only way for him to truly peek into the unknown, is to first reach a level of strength that he would be invulnerable to whatever reality may throw at him...!

Standing to his feet, Saber descended the fleet of stairs and exited the doors of his throne room. Two figures adorned in purple armor immediately knelt when origin Saber made his appearance. Saber only nodded his head as he then trotted down the hallway with his long fluttering robe mysteriously not touching the floor. The golden crown on his head had intricate purple markings that matched perfectly with his purple pupils.

Soon, Saber appeared in front of a pair of massive doors. Pushing it open, Saber stepped into a mysterious land that had a dark red sun and the winds were incredibly cold. Yet, when it entered his system, he felt as if he had just eaten a chili pepper.

"To be able to mimic the atmosphere of hell...the Exypnos race members sure are something." Saber praised as he then shifted his attention toward the figure who at in a meditative position in between the eye of a storm. It was the figure of Bruce who hadn't sensed Saber's appearance as he continued practicing his spear abilities.

On his sword, one can see a mysterious aura that made his spear seem longer than it should be. Shockingly, Saber was able to sense that this wasn't Bruce's energy but instead the very intent of the spear.

"The invincibility element sure is something. In the presence of Saber, someone who is multiple times stronger than himself, Bruce's growth has increased substantially over the past year. And now in the presence of you, Origin Saber, someone multiple times stronger than Saber, Bruce's growth has increased even more." Saber's master said while appearing in his illusionary form.

"Yes, the invincibility element sure is something...hehe." Origin Saber uttered when hearing his master's words. A peal of creepy laughter escaped his lips at the end as he then began walking toward Bruce who was still focused on improving his weapon mastery.

It was a Bruce who had in the span of a few days, reached a level of strength that completely surpassed whatever his previous life ever reached. It was a Bruce who had in the span of a few days, transformed his way of thinking into something that his previous self would have never imagined.

It was a Bruce that had finally been brought aware of the saying, there is always a sky beyond a sky. He knew that he was previously just a frog at the bottom of a well. Simply traveling back to the past didn't mean that he would somehow become the mightiest entity in existence, there was always someone scary, and more monstrous.

HAAAAA!!

Bruce shouted as his aura spiked. His honed senses picked up on the incoming attack by a mysterious figure, and he wasn't simply going to allow for the said figure to simply attack him. After all, he needed to become something different in this life. Already experiencing what death felt like, Bruce wasn't planning to die anytime soon.

'No...I don't plan on ever dying...!!' Blade shouted with determination in his mind as he then flashed toward the figure who was approaching him with an insane level of bloodlust.

BOOM!

The space distorted and immediately thereafter, the tornadoes surrounding Bruce and Saber were dispersed by the mere collision of each other's power!
