I Am The Peak

In a normal world of mortals, Saber was a special existence but, this all changed when he was sent into different worlds, meeting different things, and being revealed to cultivation... Well, at least this was what he expected but, it never changed. He was still special in the end, not that he complained. The endless world of cultivation is filled with ruthlessness and scheming. But, not everything is as it seems. This isn't the story of Saber, but of a being who should have transcended everything... This is his second chance at it...

"You say you can kill me. But, can you truly do it in time?...

Even though my strength isn't comparable to yours, by the time you could even kill me, this planet would already be destroyed.

By the time you can kill me, your home would be destroyed, and all of your family, friends, and even those you don't know...all of them... gone!

Tell me, even if Immortals such as yourself can stay alive in space for an extended period, your strength would be incredibly nerfed while someone like me who is unaffected by space would be able to fight in my peak state even at that time." Saber calmly said. He then went on to say...

"Plus, you are unable to team up on me. All the Sabers behind you are also me, they have the same strength and the same trump cards as me that would allow us to boost our power to incredible degrees.

Tell me, how would you stop me from destroying your planet when you are busy fighting another group of me?!"

THRUM!!

His words sent shivers down the Immortals' spines. Such arrogance they previously held went away as their expressions turned serious. It seemed as if Saber seemed to have already planned for their arrival and came up with many ideas to counter them.

Seeing their expressions, Saber coldly said.

"Since you understand the gravity of your situation, let us finally talk about some business. The gates of hell can wait since they aren't going anywhere, I firstly want to a certain place, and you people are the ones who will take me there...

Before you think of disagreeing, just know that I have your three masters as hostages that could be killed if ever I so whim. Of course, if you listen to my request, a chance to kill me without threatening this planet may also arise. So, I will expect you to come back in a week."

Saber then continued laying out his demands for the rest of the meeting...

Tap Tap Tap!...

Bam!

Fighting on a body of water were the figures of two Sabers with smiles on their faces. Even if their eyes did not show any emotion when fighting a smile somehow formed on their faces.

It had been more than a day since Saber's meeting with the Immortals and had been more than nine days inside the black ring.

During these nine days, two Sabers fought each other while two would focus on comprehending Primordial Chaos, and two others would focus on comprehending the cloning technique to a deeper level.

Because of the increase in comprehension speed, at this moment in time, other than the previously mentioned six, there were multiple Sabers practicing sword arts, and another group of Sabers doing what seemed to be peaceful meditation.

Out of all of the Sabers, there was only one Saber who did nothing as he was instead speaking with his master.

"Master, it seems that you were correct, I am truly unable to reach anywhere close to the Immortal realms any time soon." Saber said to his master in between the sipping of his tea while they both sat seiza style on a floating mat while drifting through the space of the black ring.

After Saber's power level reached the absolute peak of the half-step immortal rank and read 999,999,999 in even his human form, Saber realized he couldn't increase his power level anymore.

It did not mean he wasn't becoming stronger, he had simply realized that there was something that was preventing him from calling himself an Immortal realm cultivator.

He had previously asked his master what he needed to do to enter the Immortal Realm and he had begun training with such a goal in mind for the past nine or so days inside the black ring where the flow of time moves faster than outside...

(A Few Days Ago) (Black Ring Time)

"Those Immortals... To think some people could still kill me on this planet." Saber muttered in slight surprise when thinking back to the feeling of the Immortals' auras. After they left the room, Saber watched from the window as they left the vicinity of his mansion.

"Well, at least I have gotten something good out of this meeting." Saber said when thinking back to the contents of the meeting he just had. He then clenched his fist in annoyance while saying.

"But, if I don't become stronger before that...then my plan would never be able to come into fruition."

Thereafter, he disappeared from his room and appeared in his black ring. Before the ring disappeared, all of the other Sabers shot into it as the ring was then sucked into a hole in the space in its surroundings.

When Saber appeared inside the black ring, he appeared in front of his master as all the Sabers slightly bowed their heads before the Saber in the lead then asked.

"Master, I am unable to raise my strength any higher. And by the time I meet those Immortals once again, I'm sure they'll be out to kill me. So, will you enlighten me on how I should go about increasing my strength and surpassing the limits of the half-step Immortal rank?"

Hearing Saber's plea, Saber's master lazily answered his question while randomly drifting through the space inside of the Black Ring.

"Well, it is expected, and since Leviathan isn't here, I guess I'll have to be the one to explain every single thing to you..." He said. His words trailed off as he thought about the insane amount of sleeping time he'll miss.

Sigh!...

Releasing a sigh, Saber's master then said. "To break the limits of the Half-step Immortal rank, and enter the Immortal realms is very simple, but hard to accomplish.

There are three important steps one must take to reach the realms of the Immortals, and every one of them is very difficult for one to do." He said and then paused. He then took a deep breath in and continued.

"Out of all the steps, it would be better for you to focus on only the easiest one first. This step, even though I say is the easiest, is extremely hard to reach.

In fact, for any other lifeform, this step would be the hardest to achieve. But, you and your body are different making this step the easiest of the lot." Hearing his master's words, Saber's hollow eyes shot an inquisitive gaze toward the eyes of his master as he asked.

"So, you're saying that it is because of my title as a True Lifeform, that this first step suddenly becomes easier for me to reach?" Saber asked. Hearing his student's words, the golden-haired master couldn't help but smile at his disciple's ignorance as he then went on to say.

"The first step hasn't suddenly become easier for you to reach my disciple. No, it is because nothing has changed for the first step that it is the easiest of steps to complete.

The other steps have all instead become harder for you to complete because of your title as a True Lifeform, hence the reason why the first of the steps is the easiest."

THRUM!!

Immediately after hearing this, Saber realized that his luck was as shit as it had always been.

Since the beginning of his journey to find the unknown through the worlds, his luck had been shit! He was unsure if he truly had luck as one of his aspects before it fused into his Primordial Chaos physique.

Why did it seem as if luck always tried to fuck him sideways?!...
