Chapter 52

Kenshin knew that telekinesis could be developed through practice, but he knew that there was no way this ability could become so strong that he could take on at least one Akatsuki within six years.

After dinner, Kenshin did a little telekinesis training, moving small objects around. From now on, he decided to perform all the simplest tasks using telekinesis in order to hone the control and strength of the ability.

At the moment, it was insanely difficult for him to even hold a pencil in the air. It's one thing to roll a salt shaker across the table, but it's quite another to lift an object in the air. But he didn't give up, and after two hours of training, his head felt like cotton wool again, and his eyes were heavy with fatigue, so he went back to the second bedroom, and in a matter of minutes fell asleep, deciding not to disturb the girls, and let them spend the night with the little ones.

On the morning of the 174th day, after breakfast, Kenshin told Ichiro to stay late and led him and the Fourth to the living room, ordering everyone in the household not to disturb them unless absolutely necessary.

Initially, he wanted to use his memories, but decided that the memories from Ichiro's face would be much more effective for one of the brothers.

The three of them settled into a comfortable position, and Kenshin placed both hands on his sons ' heads and repeated what he had said yesterday, encouraging them to relax.

"Ichiro, focus on Keiji. Your job is to think about him. About how you remember him from the moment you were born, right up to that very day."

Kenshin said calmly, and Ichiro opened his eyes and stared at his father in amazement, but he didn't say anything, and after a few seconds, he closed his eyes again and focused on the memories of his brother.

The fourth was also surprised, but didn't show it. He had heard about his older brother, who had died before he was born, and how it had affected his mother and father. He considered Keiji a hero who had sacrificed his life to protect their beloved father.

It took Kenshin about five minutes to establish a stable connection, and the session finally started. He helped Ichiro choose the right memories, and guided and supported him in every possible way, transmitting many fragmented but consistent memories to the Fourth's mind.

The first was the memory of the first time Ichiro was allowed to hold his fragile little brother, and how happy he felt.

Then there were countless pictures of measured family life, when Kenshin, Aya, Ichiro, and little Keiji enjoyed life, almost every day going to the river, or to the forest.

The first encounter with a rabbit, a startled squeal, and then a joyful laugh upon contact with a fish. The happy blue eyes of a child who has received candy, and the glassy gaze of a young man dying with a pierced heart.

As soon as the Fourth saw the last picture, the telepathic connection abruptly broke, and he opened his eyes, which turned bright red, with one small comma. The Fourth Man's eyes were streaming with tears of blood, and he was having a hard time breathing. The memories he saw hit his perception like a steel hammer, and he felt a tightness in his chest.

After breaking the connection, Kenshin winced a little and opened his watery eyes. Even though he had a perfect memory and remembered EVERYTHING down to the smallest detail, it still hurt him, especially when he saw everything from a different angle. He grieved deeply for his second son, and as soon as the pain of loss subsided a little, it was returned with renewed vigor.

"Congratulations, son."

Kenshin said without much joy, and patted the Fourth on the shoulder. "Ichiro, help him learn sharingan, and I think I'll go get some rest."

As soon as Kenshin tried to stand up, his head started spinning and his vision went black. He staggered abruptly, regained his coordination, and after calming his sons who jumped up, headed for the bedroom, this time taking Aya with him.

After hearing that the Fourth One had awakened the Sharingan, everyone in the Nakayama family was thrilled. Aya glowed with happiness, Natsumi congratulated "baby Four" and her best friend, and his younger brothers were full of joy mixed with envy.

Kenshin rested until the evening, and at dinner, he said that he would have one session a day, and ordered the Sixth to get a good night's sleep and be ready for the morning.

After dinner, he did some telekinesis training again, and collapsed again, once again falling asleep separately from the girls. He needed absolute peace, so he deliberately went to sleep in another room.

Kenshin knew that the first few days or weeks were the most difficult, and his brain needed to get used to the rigors and become many times more powerful. He KNEW that it was relatively safe, and he would have to work very hard to get injured from overexerting his psionic powers. To do this, he had to either forcibly break into the mind of a strong-willed person, or strain his strength and "jump above his head" ten times.

*****

The next day, after breakfast, Kenshin repeated the "session"with Six, but without Ichiro. He had all the necessary memories in his head, so he had no trouble transmitting them to Six's mind.

Everything went the same as the first time, with minor adjustments. Kenshin slightly changed the transmission of memories, arranging them in such a sequence that everything looked as sad as possible. He didn't like this cynical approach himself, but for the sake of awakening sharingan in his sons, he was willing to go beyond his principles.

At the end of the session, Six abruptly opened his eyes, tears of blood pouring out of them, and the iris turned red, becoming a classic sharingan with only tomoe.

Kenshin was mentally exhausted, so without much enthusiasm, he congratulated the Sixth, and went to rest.

This time, he rested a little faster than before, so just before dinner, he started practicing telekinesis, trying to hold a small apple in the air. Even this, in his opinion, was a small thing that Kenshin found incredibly difficult.

Just a little distraction would cause the apple to fall to the bed, and it would take Kenshin at least a second to concentrate and lift it back up into the air.

Aya and Natsumi had already recovered from the birth and were hinting to him that they were ready for another pregnancy, but Kenshin wasn't up to it. His brain was in an active phase of transformation and adaptation to new abilities, so Kenshin almost always felt tired.
