The Arrival at Sinnoh

Seeing Hunter J retreat, Yuga let out a sigh of relief. If it weren't for Noctowl's timely intervention, Yuga felt that he might have been in serious trouble this time.

However, Yuga now seriously doubted whether Noctowl had been following Chatot all along. It seemed that Noctowl only acted when it saw Chatot in danger.

Instantly, Yuga felt that he held no significance whatsoever in Noctowl's eyes.

Noctowl, you've been eating my food, drinking my water, living in my place, and even if I don't get credit, I deserve some recognition for my efforts. Why do you despise me so much?

Yuga felt like crying.

"Noctowl, you really saved us this time! Without you, we would've been in that woman's clutches."

Chatot wiped away tears as it scolded Hunter J.

For some reason, when Chatot said the words "my dear," Yuga's whole body ran cold.

"If it weren't for Noctowl being pregnant, those two wouldn't have escaped today!" Chatot said angrily, as if it were the one that had just shown immense power.

Yuga sighed. It's Noctowld to have support!

But it was true. Noctowl was pregnant, and it couldn't act recklessly. Thinking about this, Yuga felt much better.

On the other side, as Hunter J left in the car, she immediately dialed her employer's number.

"Hello, Mr. Phineas, we were unable to capture Florges as you requested. Her owner had strong Pokémon protection, and we were outmawatched. The information you provided us with was inaccurate.

Our transaction ends here!"

After saying that, Hunter J hung up the phone. She was pragmatic; she never held onto a mission she couldn't accomplish.

On the other end of the call, after J hung up, a young man lowered his head in contemplation: It seems I was used by Edward. Perfect!

Yuga's side.

"Hey, Chatot, your wife's here. You should go back with her!" Yuga persuaded Chatot.

"I'm not going back. I'll go to Sinnoh with you. You let Noctowl go back." Apparently, Chatot still didn't know that Noctowl had followed it all along. It was now trying to convince Noctowl to return while it followed Yuga adventurously.

"I can't do that. If you can, convince Noctowl to go back on your own." Yuga completely ignored Chatot's words and firmly rejected the idea of it continuing to follow him.

Chatot stole a glance at Noctowl, shrank back, shook its head, and said, "I dare not, it definitely won't listen to me."

"Noctowl!"

Just as Yuga was about to say something, Noctowl's voice came.

Hearing Noctowl, Chatot jumped up anxiously, "What? Are you also coming with us to Sinnoh? Are you joking?"

"Noctowl!"

"No, no, you shouldn't go. Sinnoh isn't fun at all, and you're pregnant! Stay home and take care of yourself!" Chatot actively tried to persuade Noctowl to go back.

"Noctowl!"

Finally, Yuga spoke up, "Forget it, let Noctowl go."

Things decided by the big boss were things us commoners couldn't resist. Instead of resisting, it was better to go along with the big boss's wishes, and maybe even establish some connections along the way.

Hearing Yuga's decision, Chatot was thunderstruck, staring with its two eyes wide open. "H-how... could... it be like this..."

And so, the matter was settled.

Following that, Yuga brought Chatot and Noctowl to the Verdanturf Town Airport and boarded a plane to Sinnoh.

Reggie's home was in Veilstone City. Unfortunately, Verdanturf Town didn't have flights directly to Veilstone City, so Yuga and the others needed to fly to Jubilife City first and then transfer to Veilstone City.

Jubilife City in Sinnoh was the most modernized city in the region, closely connected to the world of Pokémon. Its global terminal linked the entire Pokémon world together.

They arrived in Jubilife City in the afternoon. As soon as they disembarked from the plane, Yuga sensed a distinctive aura different from that of Hoenn.

Currently, it was early autumn. In most cities in Hoenn, the climate was warm, even hot, but in Sinnoh, you could feel a slight chill in the air.

Upon arriving in Jubilife City, Chatot wore an expression of nostalgia, leaving Yuga utterly perplexed.

"What's this? You've been to Sinnoh before?" It shouldn't be possible! Did Chatot possess such strong flying abilities? Flying from Hoenn to Sinnoh, huh!

"Of course, I've been here! Not only have I been here, but this is also where I was born!" Chatot exclaimed.

"Huh, you weren't born in Hoenn?" Yuga was highly surprised.

"Didn't I tell you before? I used to be a member of a circus, you know? They took me away from Sinnoh, and I joined them afterward." Saying this, Chatot flew and perched on Yuga's head.

With Chatot's words, Yuga actually remembered. Chatot, a species that wasn't commonly seen in Hoenn, was quite common in Sinnoh.

"Speaking of that circus, the people there were terrible. They kept me hungry and cold every day, and they forced me to train and perform. Even my fluent human language was forced out by them." Chatot's voice dripped with bitterness as it spoke of the circus.

"What circus is this? Have I heard of it?" Yuga curiously asked.

Being able to train such an eccentric Pokémon like Chatot was a skill in itself, to some extent.

"Why bother asking it? It's already disbanded, so forget it!" After saying that, Chatot flew up from Yuga's head and headed into the distance.

"Hey, do you know the way? Do you know where we're going?" Yuga shouted at Chatot.

In no time, Chatot returned because it indeed didn't know the way, and it once again perched on Yuga's head.

"My dear mount, lead the way forward!"

Okay, usually it was "my dear," said with warmth, but now it had turned into "my dear mount." Seriously!

This reminded Yuga of a line from a past life: "Before, when I watched the moon with you, I called you 'Sweetie.' Now, with someone new replacing the old, I call you 'Madame Cow.'"

Did he now upgrade to being a "Madame Cow"?

Well, who allowed him to have such a support? Yuga resigned himself and walked toward the Pokémon Center.

It was already quite late when they arrived in Jubilife City today. They wouldn't reach Veilstone City before nightfall, so Yuga decided to stay the night in Jubilife City. They would set off tomorrow; there was still plenty of time.

Throughout the journey, Yuga drew quite a bit of attention with his two birds, especially one that could talk.
