250 Changes in the Feebas

In the blink of an eye, it was the day for Luna and Rand to participate in the preparatory camp selection, and Yuga went to the Trainer School in Verdanturf Town to see them off.

This was Yuga's first visit to the Trainer School in Verdanturf Town.

However, unbeknownst to him, there weren't many children willing to participate in this wilderness training. In the entire school, there were only about a dozen students. It looked a bit desolate, but the teacher leading the group didn't seem to mind.

After bidding farewell to Luna and Rand, Yuga returned to the Pokémon Day Care. Suzuki Koen was in the shop, handling customer payments. Since they had introduced the Water-type Upgrade Pokéblocks, business at the YoYo Day Care had become even more prosperous.

Besides the Beauty Enhancement Pokéblock, Yuga now had four types of Pokéblock formulas. The shop sold three of them, and it was these three Pokéblocks that had significantly boosted the Day Care's business. The success had even spilled over to the new shop.

Since consuming the Pokéblocks Yuga had provided, Robert's Pokémon had undergone significant changes in their vitality. For instance, his Milotic seemed to emit a constant radiant glow, and its beautiful scales sparkled like crystals.

Seeing the remarkable transformations in his Pokémon, Robert was amazed. He felt that with these Pokéblocks, he would certainly make a great impression at the upcoming grand festival.

"All right, but keep in mind that these Pokéblocks are quite a bit more expensive than regular ones. Be prepared for the cost," Yuga reminded him.

Robert wasn't concerned about the cost. He wasn't short of money. He agreed happily.

After the call with Robert, Yuga was reminded of his Feebas and Milotic, so he decided to pay a visit to the Ecological Park.

Since creating the Beauty Enhancement Pokéblocks and the improved Water-type Upgrade Pokéblocks, Yuga had given them to his Feebas and Milotic.

On his way to the park, Yuga considered that perhaps he should give the Beauty Enhancement Pokéblocks a proper name. Calling them that all the time felt a bit awkward.

On the way, Yuga felt that perhaps he should give a name to the Pokéblocks that enhance beauty. Otherwise, it sounded quite cumbersome to keep calling them that way.

Yuga contemplated and came up with a name for the Beauty Enchanted Pokéblock. He thought about how people in his previous life used "Beautification" for photo filters, so calling it "Beautie" seemed appropriate, creating a nice parallel.

However, it's important to note that the Beauty Enchanted Pokéblock was different from traditional beauty effects. It didn't just change a Pokémon's appearance; it genuinely benefited their health and well-being.

Therefore, the name "Beautie" for the Beauty Enchanted Pokéblock was casually chosen.

Upon arriving at the island's center on Shallow Seashore Beach, he coincidentally found Greninja there. Ever since Tsareena and the others moved away to the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark, the area near Lake Center had become quite desolate, and the Clawitzer didn't visit anymore.

The Pokémon living at the lake's bottom, such as Milotic, Feebas, and Magikarp, didn't have much interaction with Greninja, which made Yuga feel like Greninja might be a bit lonely.

"Hey, Greninja!"

Yuga called out to Greninja, who was meditating on a tree branch. Greninja slowly opened its eyes and nodded at Yuga.

Yuga couldn't help but appreciate Greninja's ninja-like demeanor. It was always elusive, silent, and diligent in its efforts to improve its strength, much like Absol.

After watching Greninja close its eyes again, Yuga sighed and went to the lake's edge. He called out to Milotic, and as he did so, bubbles suddenly appeared on the surface. A long, slender body emerged from the water – it was Milotic.

After Milotic emerged, the Feebas, one by one, floated to the surface, revealing their fluffy gray heads.

Yuga reached out and touched Milotic's extended head, then crouched down to look at the Feebas in the water. He noticed that Magikarp was among them.

Just as Robert had mentioned, the beauty effect was indeed remarkable. At first glance, the Feebas didn't appear to have changed much and still had their characteristic gray, puffy appearance. However, the more you looked, the more you realized they were different from ordinary Feebas.

It was somewhat like the difference between freshly cleaned window glass and one that hadn't been cleaned for a while. They might look the same from a distance, but up close, the distinction was clear.

Moreover, the Feebas' spirits seemed different as well. Previously, they had silently stayed submerged, occasionally blowing bubbles. Now, they were full of vitality, swimming around energetically in the water. The only thing that hadn't changed was their dead fish eyes.

Yuga believed that with patient nurturing, all ten Feebas would surely evolve into Milotic successfully.

On the other hand, the Magikarp, which had been consuming the Improved Pokéblocks for a while, didn't appear to have changed at all. It still looked the same, and Yuga couldn't discern if the improved Pokéblocks had any effect. He'd have to wait for further observation.

After inspecting the Feebas, Yuga recalled Magikarp into its Poké Ball and decided to take it to the Pokémon Center again, where Nurse Joy could examine it further to see if there were any changes in its evolution factors.

Upon arriving at the Pokémon Center and undergoing a thorough examination, Nurse Joy came back with a report and approached Yuga, saying, "The evolution factors have indeed shown some changes. Take a look!"

She showed Yuga the graph depicting the changes in Magikarp' evolution factors.

"During this period, Magikarp' evolution factors did become more active, but gradually they stabilized, as if they were repressed by something."

"Repressed? By what?"

Yuga was quite puzzled. There shouldn't be anything unusual in Magikarp' body. He had brought it for examination several times, and nothing out of the ordinary had been found.
