ELLENA'S POV

Well I was following Lucy to the dinning area , funny right it's my own house and faimly and I have been called like guest to meet them at this special arranged dinners . When I came close to the door , Lucy left with an assuring smile telling me that don't mess anything else now . I went in . Grand father was not present there , he will be coming latter . But he was there , even as an outsider he was sitting right next to my mother . Correction elle outsider he can be counted more as the faimly member than you . After all he loved by everyone, he is perfect and has never failed to impress the faimly . He stood up from his seat to greet me and gestured me to sit , which I returned with a nod .

I sat across, right in front of my dear mother , who was so engrossed on her phone that she even didn't noticed that I was already there.

Erick cleaned his throat just to let mother known of my presence . She didn't even raised her head to see her only child . Rather she said plainly ." so you are back for mark's marriage ceremony, good , enjoy your stay dear "

" yes I will " i said nonchalantly. I am used to of her not giving me any kind of attention .It was always like that . What was I expecting that she will hug me , smile at me. like all other normal Mothers .No she is not at all loke normal mothers because I am not a normal child . I just lowered my eyes and my hands were playing with the rubber band on left hand . I always do it whenever I thought of escaping the situation to calm myself down .

After few minutes grandfather came with Mr.Clark Ikan. I can see they were discussing some important bissiness matter as both were very serious.

When they saw me sitting at the dinning table , Mr.Clark Ikan had questioning look on his face like he was surprised to see me . More like shocked .

Seems like he doesn't even know about it .I stood up from my chair to greet them. " Ellena did you arrive "

This is how you greet your own daughter . I have no change in my expressions and said plainly ." In morning "

"it was me who allowed her to come back, she is here to attend Collet's son marriage ceremony "Before I could say anything ,grandfather speaked.Mr.Clark Ikan nodded in response and took his seat.Grandfather came forward and tapped his hand on my shoulder . I bowed to greet him and to show him respect . After every one settled down , we finally began to eat . Finally I was dead hungry.I focused my eyes on plate and stared eating . We usually don't talk while we eat , but there are some exceptions when grandfather and Mr.Clark Ikan will discuss bissiness . They were talking something about their new project which I don't know .

Miss's Clark was busy talking with Erick about his trip and project's progress. He was replying every questio with simple two or three words .

I know his eyes were always on me from the moment I came down for dinner. I can feel that gaze on me hidding so many emotions behind them .I glared back at him , but he broke the eye contact. He was nervous ,for sure when I caught him red handedly .But I am confused what was that look in his eyes . Those emotions. Was it sadness ,lonliness ,sympathy or guilt .Sympathy that I have have lost everyone and he gained everything back after losing . Guilt that one of reason was he . who took everything from her .

I was I my own thoughts , when I started to feel suffocated . I don't know I can't breath . I looked at my right hand which was holding the knife started to tremble . Then I looked at scene in front of me . They were all busy with their own talks . This is the special dinner to welcome me back. This is faimly . My vision started to blurr. I putted the utensils I'm my hand down and stood up . They all stoped talking and looked at me with strange eyes . I was hardly controlling myself and was on the verge of collapsing . SO I hurriedly said " I am done grandfather , I will be taking my leave "

My mother no Misses .Clark Ikan was glaring at me like she was reading my expressions, watching carefully my every move . While I was fighting hard with my heart strongly saying 'run , you shouldn't have come back ,run before its too late ' . I was about to surrender and was going to run to my room no matter it will offend elders , when I listened Erick saying " its better that she should leave... "
