- Those who had failed their duty to serve the Gods have been punished and become immortals that would remain forever. They will feel the sorrow of loss, loneliness, and misery without ever passing on. These species will coexist with humans; however, humans will never accept them as a part of the realm.

They devised a contraption manufactured from a rare diamond that will make the immortals suffer. The immortals will experience purgatory just from sensing or the worst when touching.

There is so much punishment imposed on them, and this punishment is surviving for a hundred years, yet no one has tried to break it. The ones who had been punished are now hiding, fearful of being in pain. They concealed themselves and never to be seen again.-

They are at it again.

Hello, I'm here. Aren't these maids supposed to be taking care of me? Why are they chatting about the gods and humans? It's time for them to feed me.

I felt like crying to make them aware of my beautiful existence. "U~uhuhu!"

I screamed and cried until I almost lost my voice, yet no one came to me with any food.

These royal servants are truly that harsh.

Do they not remember they are tasked to take care of me, The King's Favorite baby girl and only daughter of Luan Guo1?

Oh, yeah. You aren't aware of my existence either, aren't you? Allow me to introduce myself.

I am Scarlet Fuchsia Vi Leiheighne3, I am three years old, living in the royal palace of the present monarch. I've heard my mother is not the Queen, though she's the king's favorite.

She's the eldest concubine of the king.

If you wonder why I have these genius thoughts in me, you shall heed my words that I am definitely a prodigy. I'm just kidding.

When I was playing with a children's storybook, something snapped out of my mind. Something that shouldn't have.

Then the next thing I knew was that I was listening to the people around me. The words of my mother and the people around me are so simple for me to understand.

Then I came into this type of thinking that I am probably different from the other people. Although, for me, being different is not a big deal. Hence, for the other people, they only know how monstrous I am in their eyes. 

The citizens of Luan Guo don't accept me as their Princess, but thanks to my father's influence, I am safe within the palace grounds. 

Even though I know what is going on around me, I can neither talk nor walk properly on my own. I'm already three years old, yet I'm so bumpy. I've heard the lady-in-charge who was assigned to check upon me said that I have weak bones.

But I don't agree with that. I only need a bit more push to myself in order to walk.

"Will you quit crying?! What do you want!?"

I was a bit startled when one of my maids started yelling at me.

What in the world is wrong with you?! I, I am your superior, and you are yelling at me!?

"Ms.Rebecca. If the attendants outside hear you. You will be punished for disrespecting the Princess." one of the maids concerned uttered.

Yes, you must listen to her! Even though you are the head maid here, you aren't supposed to yell at me.

"Shut up! Who do you think you are?" Then this Rebecca girl started bullying the other maid. "Don't you know? That girl is new here. I've heard that the poor concubine of the king hired her to be part of the maids who take care of this cursed Princess."

Huh? Did they just label me cursed?! Now, they are really at it. I will cry, till my father hears me, and I will see with my own eyes that this Rebecca girl will be punished for disrespecting the royal family.

And so, I cried and cried. I made it louder so the whole palace would be aware of me.

"Oh my gosh! This piece of trash doesn't stop crying! It's incredibly frustrating!"

However, I didn't expect the next thing she would do to me. She grabbed a pillow and without any pity, she covered my face.

"Ms. Rebecca! What do you think you are doing?!" the females started arguing since they can't stop Rebecca from suffocating me.

I can't breathe properly, this cushion is too tight and I'm losing my air.

Help me, someone!

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY DAUGHTER?!"

Everyone halted when someone familiar seemed to enter my room. The pillow was thrown away as someone carried me. I was still crying because of this unjust situation right now.

"How dare you hurt my daughter?!" That was my mother, she was the one who saw the whole event.

The servants backed away from us because my mother was furious. She caressed me gently and she came closer to Rebecca who tried to suffocate me. She slapped her, glaring toward the other maids.

"What is happening here?" Everyone was concerned when the king made his way inside the room.

Mother ran toward Father and she wept hysterically, "That maid! She just tried to kill our daughter."

When I peek back at Rebecca she appears like she was already being stabbed in her back. Her face was doomed, and of course, she will be. She tried to kill me after all. That's what you get for meddling with the King's favorite baby girl.

The king quickly called his knights to arrest the Rebecca girl and three other maids. "Execute the head maid and the others. I don't want them alive in my Kingdom."

"Y-your Majesty! P-please reconsider your decision! Please, we won't do it again! We-" one of the maids started begging but the king didn't have any intention to forgive them.

Instead, he roared angrily. "Yes. You won't do it again because you will be executed immediately. What are you doing? I say pull them away!"

"Your Majesty! Your Majesty! Please have mercy on us! Your Majesty!" The three maids started crying and begging as they were being taken away except for the one who tried to stop Rebecca.

She obediently followed the knights, but I can't let her die. She is the babysitter that I need. I screamed again and pointed my hand to the final girl who had been taken, "What's wrong, Scarlet?" Mother couldn't figure it out, so I sought to seek aid from Father.

Father peered at my eyes as if he was trying to figure out the link of my whimpering.

"Stop," he abruptly said. The knights received the order, Father put me in Mother's arm and he walked toward the maids.

"Who do you wish to save?" Well, this gentleman just figured out what I was trying to communicate. Then I handled the rest. I opened my arms to the girl directly next to Rebecca, I was reaching for her and she gratefully carried me.

"Your Highness?" she was bewildered. Ugh, this girl is so naive. There's no way I can let her die.

"W-what about me? Your highness!" Then this Rebecca girl doesn't have her shame under her skin,

Huh? Who would save you after what you've caused me?

I snubbed her and leaned my head to the girl.

"Take them." immediately the knight received my father's words. They had been taken away from me.

"From now on, you are the head-maid of my daughter. Your attendants will be following you shortly." father informed her, "Why... Thank you for your wonderful blessings, Your Majesty!" she lowered her head informally.

"What is your name, darling?" Then my mother pleasantly inquired about her name.

"Freesia Uru2. Your Highness." she quickly replied.

"Alright then, Ms. Freesia. Please, I'll be leaving my daughter in your care from now on. Please take good care of her."

"Yes, your highness. I shall try my hardest."

Don't worry mother, I'm sure this girl is more compassionate than that Rebecca girl.

"Fushia, let's go. We still have to attend the duke's house to mend some formal business." Then father called for my mother.

Geez, father genuinely loves mother, and that's why he only wants her at his side. Though, I'm still a kid, so I don't think I can do much about it.

But again, I got this faithful nanny with me. Therefore, there's nothing I will have to worry about.
